S.T. Ashman is a published American-German author.

She is a writer who calls the U.S. seacoast her home. She attended the University of Pennsylvania where she graduated with her master’s degree. She worked for years in the criminal justice system as a psychotherapist. This work gave her a window into the human mind and allows her to write in great detail. Her readers frequently report that the characters she writes ‘feel real enough to step off the page’.

Ashman considers herself to be a crime solving enthusiast and says that she frequently daydreams about being a female version of Colombo, taking on mysteries and solving them while also wearing a trench coat. She loves to come up with her suspenseful stories and when she is not busy doing that she can be found reading a book, watching a horror movie late at night with her husband who has fallen asleep before the scary parts happen, or chasing after her children.

She also takes time out of her life to consider how kids can be the greatest joy as well as the reason behind accelerated aging. Ashman wants to go into territories that are uncharted and use her writing to challenge the norm. She tries her best to come up with the type of stories that will keep her readers intrigued and entertained, stories that will be able to leave an impression that lasts for a long time after her work has been read.

Ashman also says that she loves history and crime documentaries. She does her best to include some history and mystery into her fiction along with all of the action to come up with stories that will have readers hooked and staying up late to find out what happens next. Even though she writes in different genres, her books always keep people interested by delivering twists every time.
