Her way of doing this is going to Colorado for the summer to look into a murder that seems fairly simple and straight forward. It should be an open and shut case that lets her redeem herself and move on, but then two crimes come together to make her a main suspect when the past and the present cases become linked.

Amanda is someone who really needs redemption. She is the person who decided to turn her sister in for murder. She also anonymously broadcast the trial to millions of people on the TikTok platform. The worst part about all of this is that she turned on her sister— and was wrong. Her sister is largely innocent, which makes Amanda the villain instead of the hero. So it’s time to do some damage control and make up for what she has done.

It seems that the perfect opportunity has come when her childhood best friend’s mother gets arrested. The crime she is accused of is killing a billionaire– and the mother won’t give a statement. Amanda looks at this situation and decides that it’s time to help out and get this crime solved. She’s not doing it for the friend’s mother but rather herself, to give herself a second chance.

What wasn’t in the plan was everything that ends up happening. She sees a ghost, starts falling for Vince, blacks out and loses fifteen minutes out of her own life, and wakes up to see the dead body of a friend/enemy.

Now Vince and Amanda are going to have to collaborate if they want to track down this killer. It’s up to Amanda now to solve this thing, at the risk of being held responsible for a crime she didn’t commit. What will go down and can Amanda find the redemption she seeks?
