She’s already been too damaged herself, and can’t bear the thought of her sister being in this situation when she can do something about it. The only thing that Stevie has ever cared about in her life is keeping her sister safe. That’s not ever going to change. So Stevie does something that is nearly unthinkable– she offers herself to them in her place.

The Reapers accept. She has been accepted as a payment for a debt and she thought that The Reapers would be a certain way. The thing that she didn’t expect was that she would like it so much. These men have taken her on and are playing with her heart and her head. But now that she’s taken this on, there’s no backing out of it.

Stevie has made her bed in this case and now she has to lie in it. Will she find that there is no end to this situation or is there a way to get out of it? Even if she can get out, would she want to? This is the first book in this series and readers should be aware ahead of time that this story ends in a cliffhanger.
However, by the time they get to the end of the series, it will all be resolved.
