RaeAnne Thayneis a New York Times and U.S.A Today bestselling author. She is a household name in among many novel lovers. As a child RaeAnne loved to read books but she never thought that her desire of reading books was a hidden talent of writing. You would always find her holding a book that she was reading. She wanted to become a teacher, lawyer or actress but it never crossed her mind that she would become a renowned author. She not only enjoyed reading romantic books and stories but she was also good in doing assignments that required creative writing, something that most of her classmates dreaded. RaeAnne graduated from college with a degree in journalism and immediately became a reporter for the local newspaper. While working as a reporter, ReaAnne Thayneis could interview the latest country music star, the next day she would be writing about local motorcycle gangs or interviewing an award-winning scientist but never had the chance to write a romantic story. Despite that, her interest in romantic stories and books continued to increase.
She moved up to become an editor and began to develop a love of romances and sold her very first book in 1995. RaeAnne has since written about fifty books for HQN, Intimate Moments/Romantic Suspense, Special Edition and Bantam Loveswept. She has received a grand career achievement award from the Romantic Times for series romantic adventure, and a Pioneer of Romance award as well as two RT Reviewers’ Choice awards for best Special Edition.
The Mating Game’ is one of her earliest book that was published on August 1996. This book is a romantic novel that is full of wild romance and passion. The book features Carly Jacobs and Chase Samuelson. Carly had a crush on Chase as a teenage but he betrayed her. Chase is back in her life and now she has to make her mind whether she can trust him and let him back in her life. Chase is a handsome man with irresistible blue eyes and smile. Despite the betrayal, Carly is still attracted to Chase and the attraction between the two is evident.
In 2014, RaeAnne’s title Starstruck’which was a part of the book Together for Christmas’ which made it to the Harlequin’s Hot Romance List. Together for Christmas’ book included short stories from different great authors. ReaAnne’s story Starstuck was features in this book. The story features Ashley Barnes had Justin Hartford. Ashley Barnes is a kindergarten teacher in Pine Gulch, Idaho. Ashley is “Starstruck” when she meets Justin Hartford, the father of one of her students who turns out to be the former movie star and her own major crush. Other popular titles by RaeAnne Thayneis include: Light the Stars, A Cold Creek Secret, A Thunder Canyon Christmas, and Fortune’s Woman.
A Cold Creek Secret’ is a romantic series by RaeAnne that has a mix of romance and some humor. The book features Brant Western and Mimi Van Hoyt also known as “Maura”. Brant is a Major in the military who has just come on leave. Brant lives in a cabin in his family’s Cold Creek ranch. Brant is tired and all he wants is food and a peaceful sleep. It was cold and snow was blowing when he saw a car off slid off the road and fall into the creek. He rushes to assist the person in the car and discovers that it is a woman. He pulled her out and all her clothes were wet so he had to get off her wet clothes and get her warm to avoid her getting hypothermia. When the woman gain’s consciousness, Brant discovers that the lady he has just saved was Mimi Van Holt a rich socialite. Mimi was pregnant and she was now stranded and could not make it home. She talked Brant into allowing her to spend the night at his cabin with the promise of cleaning it for him.
Fortune’s Woman’ is part of the Fortunes of Texas: Return to Red Rock #5 series by RaeAnne Thayneis. The bood features Ross Fortune, a private detective consulted by the family to assist them in determining the person setting fires and sending threatening note to the family. Ross’s brother in law is murdered and his sister is arrested. Ross has the obligation of clearing his sister of the murder charge. Ross’s nephew is going through a very challenging time thus they take him on counseling sessions. Julie Osterman is the counselor counseling Ross’s nephew. She is a very attractive woman and Ross cannot help but fall for her. She is also beginning to get attracted to Fortune but she does not want her feeling to cloud her professional judgment. Will Julie be willing to stand by Fortune when a fiery secret threatens everyone’s future?
ReaAnne has recently collaborated with Debbi Macomber in a new 2-in-1 collection, Country Bride’ that features a book of Debbie’s by the same title and ReaAnne Thayneis book Woodrose Mountain’, which was book 2 in Hope’s Crossing series. She will also be publishing Riverbend Road’ which is her fourth book in my Haven Point series. The book will be available on June 21. The book features the story of Haven Point police officer Wynona Bailey and Cade Emmett. The book proves that love can even be found even in the most unpredictable places. It is a romantic novel with a mix of romance, mystery and thrill.
When asked in an interview why a good percentage of the characters in her book have gone through difficult times, ReaAnne said, “I find it inspiring to write about people who have faced difficult things and yet have still managed to overcome, to move forward with their lives and still find joy again”.
ReaAnne Thayneis may not have dreamt of becoming an author or writer but today she is a full-time writer and author who loves to write and can never imagine her life without writing. Thayneis says that she gets her inspiration from the scenic mountains of northern Utah where she lives with her husband and three children. ReaAnne is a passionate romantic novel author who has inspired so many people with many people describing her books as emotional and sweet with stunning, honest storytelling that is captivating to readers.
