A.R. Knight is an American published author.

A.R. is known for writing his science fiction and fantasy stories in his small frosty house located in the frozen north area of Madison, Wisconsin. He loves to sit down and spin his stories and has a nice pair of cats to keep him company as he goes into his stories and adventures, which frequently end up being as much about the villain as they are about the hero.

The author got sucked into the grind of working after the 2008 economic crash. After that, he found that he would often spend boring meeting time in his own imagination, where he could go on adventures and soar through space.

A.R. received a degree in journalism and went all over the country installing healthcare software. After some time, the author thought that it would be a good idea to return to what he loved. Now he has a small office that he can use and early mornings that he can spend there writing whenever stories come into his imagination.

He spent a good amount of time with podcasting, short stories, screenplays and other novels, eventually finding a story that he felt that he could fall into with a cast of characters that were entertaining and full of heart. The story would be Wild Nines, which would get developed into a trilogy.

When the author is not busy writing, he likes to travel anywhere that he can. This includes islands off the Ecuadorian coast, the rain forest, going to the Rocky Mountains to snowboard, or going to Edinburgh to have some nice scotch. A.R. says that that’s the nice thing about the writing life, is that you can really ‘take it anywhere’.

This debut in the series is a classic sword and sorcery fantasy story that you won’t want to miss.
