My father was a typesetter (printer) and we were encouraged to read from the time we were old enough to pick up a book. SO – You would think that as an avid reader now in my 80th year, I would have come upon the writings of Edward Marston before this !!! After having come to terms with this dreadful oversight I have read all the later books readily available and am currently trying to track down some of the earlier editions of The Railway Detective, Home Front Detective, Ocean Liner Mysteries and Bow Street Rivals. Loving every page. Thank you for (belatedly) brightening up so many of my days. I’ve also managed to get my 86 year old sister hooked as well !!!
Kindest regards
