With a strain of religion and spirituality running throughout all his work, Kelly’s writing doesn’t close itself in, making it open to everyone.

Reaching the top of the bestseller lists on numerous occasion, he’s managed to create a name for himself quite unlike any other. Gaining a high amount of critical and commercial success, he’s become a hugely influential household name for many all over. Working with big-name brands and companies too, he helps people find a path more suitable for them, as he’s well versed in communicating with the public at large. Helping people, he sets about working on allowing the individual to become the best version of themselves that they can be.

Unlocking the inner potential of everyone he meets, Kelly really has a deeper understanding of what really drives people. This insight can be seen reflected within his work, as he manages to bring his books to life with a unique and distinctive perspective. Knowing his audience well, he’s a gifted writer who imparts his messages clearly and articulately in an easy to understand manner. With a lot more to come still, he definitely will not be stopping his career any time soon, as he will carry on writing for a long time yet.

Early and Personal Life

Growing up in Australia where he was raised, Matthew Kelly was born on the 12th of July in 1973, in Sydney. Starting out his career both speaking and writing, he would begin back in 1993, as he would work on building a name and brand for himself. In time this would see him travelling around the world, making sure that his message would reach an audience that was truly global.

Always looking to help people out and advance them, Kelly would dedicate his life to the betterment of others. This could clearly be seen reflected in his work and writing, as he would also go on to establish his own Florida based consulting firm called ‘Floyd Consulting.’ He also founded ‘The Dynamic Catholic Institute,’ which would be a Cincinnati based Catholic non-profit helping with education, as he continues to write and help others to this day.

Writing Career

Beginning his career in 1993, Matthew Kelly has come a long way since then, both as a respected speaker and as a writer. Attending business school, he would go on to develop his now famous ‘best-version-of-yourself’ philosophy that is admired by so many. Published in more than thirty languages and counting, his work has gone on to be appreciated by readers the world over.

Reaching the top of numerous bestseller lists on multiple occasion, including USA Today, Wall Street Journal, and New York Times, he’s hugely popular. Quoted by many, which includes celebrities and politicians, his work has effected countless readers from all over. Continuing to speak, he lives with his family, as he puts out work on a regular and consistent basis, with plenty more to follow.

The Dream Manager

Originally brought out in 2007 on the 1st of January, this would first come out through the Hachette Books publishing imprint. Not a part of any series, it can easily be read on its own, open to anyone managing a business of their own, or looking to manage one. It’s a self-help title with elements of fiction used to elaborate the points it’s making a lot more easily for the reader.

This is a business parable looking at how companies can work and strive to achieve any of their dreams if they really want them. Using a fictional company as its basis the book sets about breaking down what really motivates its employees, ultimately driving it forwards. Finding that it’s the personal dreams of the employees, it sets about looking at how the company can potentially rectify this dissatisfaction. Showing the reader how they can become more aware of this in the day-to-day running of their business, this shows another way for managing their company.

Providing some clear insight, this book offers a lot in the way of simple and straightforward instruction for the everyday manager. Working on a number of levels, this offers the reader a lot to go with in dealing with their own company, making it more effective in the process. There’s so much here, and it’s easy to read and highly accessible, ensuring that it’s open to everyone regardless of their business.

Resisting Happiness

First released back in 2016 on the 15th of August, this would initially come out through the ‘Blue Sparrow’ publishing house. Another non-fiction self-help book, this again looks at helping people become more productive individuals making the most of their lives. Inspirational, it works by itself, as it’s stand-alone, but it does reflect many of Kelly’s other ideas and previous writing.

People are often said to sabotage their own happiness and this book seeks to look at exactly why that is. Giving readers the confidence to be themselves, this sets about providing them with a deeper level of insight and understanding when it comes to their own happiness. Experiencing deeper doubts, Kelly explains how to rise above, not letting the reader get pulled down by them. Living with a clear sense of passion and purpose, this provides a straightforward set of actions for the reader to undertake to help better themselves and their life.

This is definitely a book that will help the reader, as not only does it help identify the problem, but it also outlines advice to work around the issue. Offering self-help and self-development, it’s easy to read and simple to apply, making it a great book for anyone suffering from issues of self-doubt. Inspirational, there are themes of faith, but it’s open to anyone willing to make the most of it, as it translates on a universal level.

I love the books I have read and was wondering is there a specific book that reaches out to help a 17 yr old female struggling to find herself in this world? To maybe help her to know her self worth or value? Asking for a friend. Thank you
