Their child may end up saving the world. That is, if they are able to manage to keep the kid alive in the first place. While getting ready for his first child to be born, Chrys Valerian is given the job of getting to the bottom of the group that is responsible for a series of different threadweavers. These are those individuals that have the special ability of being able to see and manipulate threadlight. A young girl who hails from a secret city that exists in the Fairenwild center goes off course so that she can have a proper chance at exploring the streets of Alchea. But she never thought that the journey that she took off on would end up with her being in chains. Meanwhile, far away in the deserts in the south, a young man finds that his life is going to forever change upon dying.
Chrys finds out who is the party responsible for all those threadweavers going missing, but once he learns that, they end up pursuing him and his family. He ends up understanding that he is going to have to do all that he can to try and protect those that he cares about. He ends up getting so desperate that he’s willing to do things he wouldn’t ordinarily, such as placing trust in a stranger or the voice that is growing in his own mind.
