Liska is taken away to his manor, which is in the process of crumbling. But she’s about to find out that their bargain has some bad roots to it. Nothing is ever as simple as it appears to be, and this is one of those cases. If she wants to make it through the year and get back home, she’s going to have to get to the bottom of everything.

That means that she’s going to have to summon her bravery and get to the bottom of all of the secrets that she suspects her host might be hiding.
