Jed Rubenfeld is an American published author.

He is a summa cum laude graduate from Princeton University and a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School. He is a Robert R. Slaughter Professor at Yale Law School, as well as an expert on constitutional law (internationally recognized).

His debut novel was titled The Interpretation of Murder and kicked off the Freud series by Jed Rubenfeld. It was a bestseller on a global basis and sold over a million copies.

His experience in the field of Shakespearean Plays combined with the thesis that he wrote on Sigmund Freud were both helpful in coming up with his fictional yet highly analytical first novel.

Jed is a master in the field of Law. He has also shown himself to be a master in fiction. Readers can check out his works for themselves to see what they think!

The Interpretation of Murder is the first book in the Freud series by Jed Rubenfeld. If you’ve been looking for a new series to get into, check out this story and see what you think.

It is the summer of 1909. Sigmund Freud has come to New York Harbor, arriving by steamship to take a brief visit to America. He would go on to live for another thirty years but during the course of that time he would never come back to his country.

Not much is known about the week that he decided to spend in Manhattan. His biographers have speculated about why he decided to refer to Americans in his later years as being ‘savages’ and ‘criminals’.

In this book, the author is able to weave the facts of his visit into an incredible story that features corruption and murder, all taking place in New York at the turn of the century. It pulls from case histories as well as Hamlet by Shakespeare and the historical details that come with a city that is about to be modernized.

This book introduces a story that readers will not want to put down from Jed Rubenfeld, an author and natural storyteller that you won’t want to miss. Check out The Interpretation of Murder to find out more.

The Death Instinct is the second book in the Freud series by Jed Rubenfeld. This is a story that The Seattle Times praised as being a ‘sprawling and ambitious literary mystery’. Check it out and see what you think in this exciting sequel of the series.

This story is based off of a true event, the shocking bombing on lower Manhattan in September of 1920. The story moved into fiction as Rubenfeld tells the story of a physician, female radio-chemist, and a police official who have all come to believe that this strange unexplained attack is part of a bigger plan.

The conspiracy theory will end up taking them to different places abroad, such as Paris and Prague, and to Sigmund Freud’s Vienna home all the way to the corridors of power in Washington, D.C. and to the depths of our human instincts where the truth about that day will be discovered. Check out The Death Instinct by Jed Rubenfeld today in order to find out what happens!
