Beth Lewis is a successful British published author.

She grew up in the wilds of Cornwall and spent much of her time as a child splitting her attention between either books or the beach.

Beth has traveled all over the world and in the process has had some close encounters with killer whales, black bears, and great white sharks. She has worked many different day jobs in addition to being an author and has held positions such as bank cashier, juggler, and fire performer.

Her debut novel is The Wolf Road and she has had other books come out that have done well and received acclaim and book selections. One of these books is The Rush, which was July’s Goldsboro Books Prem1ere Book Club pick as well as a BBC Radio 2 Book Club pick. The Wolf Road was shortlisted for the Glass Bell Award, while The Origins of Iris (her third book) was shortlisted for the Polari Prize.

Beth is married and shares a daughter with her wife. They live together in Oxford. She says that she tends to watch way too much television when she has some spare time and then in her other time she does her best to write.

She is a managing editor at Titan Books in London.

The good news is that growing up with Trapper has its advantages. He has taught her very well and Elka is a predator too as well as being a survivalist. She’s going to use what she knows and channel it into fighting and surviving, determined to make it through this scenario and the post-apocalypse in general no matter what.
