(Thanks to Alex for this great write-up)
My stories began when I was a child, walking through fields and woods. I was small, and the plants seemed so tall that I felt as though I were wandering through a magical forest on another planet. I imagined I really was on another planet, and everything around me interested me. Even a butterfly seemed enormous, as if it might have something magical to tell me. Animals would sometimes appear from the woods and remind me of creatures from Narnia. They would stand silently and look at me, and I felt as though their eyes were saying something.
That was the world of childhood, when the things around us could give us something magical. As we grow older, we find answers, and some of that magic disappears. But other things appear. We begin asking questions about society, relationships, feelings, and why people do what they do. I wanted to ask those questions and find answers. When I couldn’t find them, I began looking for them on paper.
There were libraries, many books and articles, and conversations with writers and ordinary people. My curiosity seemed to have no limits. I wanted to understand not only what had happened, but also what a person felt, how they reacted, and why. I wrote for a long time and created parallel stories connected to my books. Much of that work is still unpublished. I only recently began publishing, after many people encouraged me to share my stories. Perhaps it was time to share what I had observed and explore it through different worlds, both imagined and real.
Maybe someone will enjoy these stories. Maybe they will make the world a little easier to understand, help someone find a way out of a difficult situation, or offer a ray of light when it is needed. That is why I wanted to share them.
MANGO
Left alone, Lea is trying to find meaning and understand how to go on. Sooner or later, many of us face that feeling, whatever the reason we find ourselves alone. But the past is not ready to let her go. A key appears at her feet, bringing a painful truth back into her life, as if reminding her that a connection she thought was broken still remains. Then comes a message that leaves her stunned.
From that moment, events rush into her life, turning her world upside down and making her question everything that once seemed certain. Festivals and bright lights give way to pursuit, danger, and a fight to survive. Lea must search for the truth and decide whom she can trust when appearances may conceal something very different. Yet even among fear and loss, there is room for tenderness, desire, and love. Feelings can return when a person no longer expects anything like that from life. Is a story about mystery, danger, and the search for meaning. It is about a past that will not let go and the possibility of opening your heart again, even when it has once been broken.
The Consent Chronicles
The Consent Chronicles takes readers into a world of mysteries, danger, and interplanetary conflict. But behind those events are questions that matter to me: what makes us who we are, whom can we trust, and who has the right to decide another person’s future?
I recommend starting with the first book, although each was written so that readers can also enter the story at another point.
More Than the Past
Vitto seems to be living in a world of dreams. He explores his own sensitivity, discovers new emotions, and looks with a child’s curiosity at things that once seemed to belong only in a fairy tale. There is so much he wants to feel, understand, and hold on to. But gradually he must face something that existed in the past, exists in the present, and will exist in the future. People. Their desires and fears. Their ideas of what is right, and of their right to decide for others. And the choices that cannot be made on feelings alone. Sometimes we have to separate our awareness from our dreams, accept responsibility, and carry it through to the end, even when there are so many temptations around us. Vitto must walk along a razor’s edge, as if on the strings of his own emotions, trying to understand whom he can trust and how not to lose himself. His story unfolds against a background of mysterious deaths and interplanetary conflict, but at its heart is a person and his right to choose.
More Than the Past is a story about memory and feelings, ethics and responsibility, and how difficult it can be to distinguish what we dream of from what we must live with in reality.
More Than Power
When someone saves your life, does that mean they have the right to decide for you?
In the second book of The Consent Chronicles, individual lives become entangled with military secrets, the evacuation of entire populations, and the appearance of an invisible fleet. The danger grows, the decisions become harder, and the consequences can reach far beyond the people making them. But even among events of such scale, there are questions that cannot be measured in power or strength. How do you protect someone without taking away their freedom? Where does care end and control begin? And what happens when the people you trust are convinced that they know better than you how your life should be lived?
More Than Power is about freedom, responsibility, and the boundaries we need to see, even when everything around us demands that we act quickly.
More Than Time
Some decisions are made in a moment, but they stay with us for a long time. Especially when they concern someone we love and a future we hoped to share. The final book of The Consent Chronicles returns to questions of memory, closeness, and choice. How do two people remain close without losing themselves? Can a decision truly be shared when each person must live with its consequences in their own way?
More Than Time brings the story that began with a search for the past to its conclusion, without trying to make every question simple. Relationships between people are rarely simple. There is trust and fear, the desire to stay close, and the need to leave the other person free. Sometimes the most important thing is to listen to the person beside you and give them the right to say what they want.
I’m also continuing to work with 2 new stories on parallel stories connected to this world, including the origin of the amulet and the lives of the main characters before these events. Much of that material remains unpublished.
