Andrea Kuhn Boeshaar is an inspirational Romance and Women’s fiction novel. She has been writing stories and poems from a young age until 1984, when she began submitting her work for publication. Eight years later, she was convicted for writing for Christian readers.
She studied English at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and went to Alverno College to study Professional Communications and Business management.

Andrea reads books of her genre while studying the market and working towards her creativity.

Love Finds you in Miracle, Kentucky is the debut novel in Love Finds You series. Each book in the series features a different character in a different time and setting. The protagonists are primarily ladies relocating to a small to start over in a place where they know no one and later end up falling in love.

The debut novel introduces us to the lead character Meg Jorgenson. She has been so unlucky in love having just broken up with her poet boyfriend, whom they lived with in Chicago. Meg was a teacher at a small school in Chicago, after which she opted to move in with her grandmother to start fresh, far from her toxic boyfriend and the dead-end job. She hopes to build her bond with her grandmother since they’ve only met a couple of times. Luckily, she gets a position at a school in Miracles, where she meets one of her students, Cammy Bayer and Vance.
Vance is a single dad, while Cammy is his physically disabled daughter. Even though she is wheelchair-bound, that doesn’t slow her down. She wants Meg and her dad to start dating as she wishes to have her new favorite teacher become her new mom. Her biological mother passed away in a car accident which left her paralyzed. Meg is happy now that her career is kicking off in her second chance at life.

Cammy has sneaky behaviors when setting up her teacher and dad, which people have found charming. Is she playing a matchmaker for her teacher and dad?

Love Find You, Miracle, Kentucky is a light-hearted story that all readers can enjoy. Andre did great work connecting the characters in their second chances. The story is told from 4 different perspectives; Meg’s, Cammy’s, Grandma’s, and Vance’s. If you’re looking for a relaxing and simple book with a happy ending, then this is your kind of book.

Andrea Boeshaar’s 2013 standalone novel, Everlasting Light, takes place at the start of the Civil War until 1865. It’s an excellent historical Christian fiction novella written in flashbacks for the reader to connect well with the story.
Alaina Dalton McKenna is a young southern wife waiting for her confederate husband, Braeden McKenna, to return from war. Michael’s best friend returned home after losing an arm in the war. Michael’s parents never thought he would make it out of the war alive. Now it’s been a long since the war was over, and Alaina still hopes and prays that her Braedan will come by Christmas.

Alaina frequently recalls when she and Braedan were young and so madly in love. She also remembers her first date, dance, and all the fantastic moments they had those days. As Christmas nears, Zete cuts down a Christmas tree and takes it to Alaina’s home, where they both decorate it and places candles in the windows.
Even though Everlasting Light is a short story, it has all the novel elements. It points out the main points of the civil war, making the novel more authentic. Families lose their sons, and husbands and women are patiently at home waiting for their loved ones to return. The Yankees had taken everything, including their food and animals, and even burned their homes. Andrea has weaved together an incredible story as she tells American history.

Threads of Hope is the first book in the threads of hope series that takes place between 1848 and 1900, spanning three generations of the Sundberg family.

Kristin Eikaas leaves Norway and arrives in Wisconsin at her uncle’s farm after the death of her entire family. Excited to have a new start, she quickly finds out that her uncle did not disclose all the details about his situation and soon discovers that it’s an abusive home.
Her uncle doesn’t like the Sundberg family because Sam Sundberg’s stepmother is Indian. On the other hand, Sam’s father doesn’t like Sundberg since he thinks they stole silver from him some years back. Despite all the hatred between the families, Sam and Kristen are attracted to each other, and when she helps out his younger sister, her family ostracizes her.

Sam’s family is the only one willing to take her in and take her to their home as a house help, where she soon starts falling in love. Once she starts living with the family, she starts learning the true nature of Sam, his kindness towards others, care, and concern. Soon she can stop believing in superstitions and put her trust in God.

In the first few pages, Kristin starts as a wide-eyed and excited lady, but everything changes when she finds herself in a difficult situation. Feeling confused, she isn’t sure who to trust her feeling of insecurity increases. The author has weaved the story so that the readers will go step by step with Kristen on her emotional journey of confusion and fear. Despite the torture experiences by the heroine from time to time, Andrea creates a hero to help Kristen through the journey.

As the enmity between the Eikaas’ and Sundberg increases, the town and church are soon divided. Finding out how and if the division can be ended makes Threads of Hope compelling and exciting.

Even though the dialogue was formal in some instances, it’s still a sweet story of love and forgiveness. The author shows her knowledge of creating characters and situations that engage the readers.

She weaves a great story of the love of brotherhood and forgiveness in this historical fiction book. Topics on immigrants and Norwegians will keep you flipping pages to the end. It’s a romance novel about hardships and prejudices with God’s guidance. It’s a perfect novel for readers searching for a cross between a sweet romance and an emotional love story with heartaches.
