She lives in Hertfordshire, England, inside of what she describes as a haunted cottage. She is married to Terry, her husband, and they share their life in their cottage along with Jazz, their black and white cat.

Ann Parker is best known in the literary world for being the creator and the author of the Abigail Summers Cozy Mysteries, a series of cozy books that are lightly suspenseful and always entertaining. The series kicked off with the publication of The Deadly Detective Agency in 2023 and kept going. Now readers can enjoy getting lost in an entire world as they make their way through these fun fictional novels with plenty of material to digest. Her works have done very well and her mystery series is vastly popular with readers. Some of the books have made it onto Audible and they have done so well that they have even met demand to be translated into other languages– Dutch, Spanish, and Portuguese. Ann continues to write but when Ann is not occupied with writing, she likes to do other things. She can be found watching a cricket game, spending time with her family, or reading a good mystery book written by another author.

It appears to be paying off as she has applied herself to solving the mystery of her own death and actually found out who murdered her.

Now she is contending with a different case all together. This one might be even easier to solve as it is not personal and about her this time. Abigail has the opportunity to be objective, to step back and see all of the facts. She is going to do her best to apply herself to Dora Bream’s murder case. In life she was a blackmailer, but in death she just wants to find out who killed her. With the assistance of other spirits, Abigail might be able to find out.

Things take a twist when Hayley Moon gets arrested for killing a fake clairvoyant. Everything starts heating up even more when a poisoning goes on at the local pub quiz. Now the ghost of Abigail must figure out if these two cases end up being connected.

The second case might really help solidify the Deadly Detective Agency, which takes on the case with the help of the psychic medium and her husband. Will they be able to figure out what was happened and can this detective agency find some legs, even if it is largely run by immaterial spirits?
