One young lady goes missing after participating in a campus party. At the same time, a different young woman becomes fixated on finding her. Will she be able to find out what happens and locate this missing person?

On an East Coast college campus, it’s the night of Halloween. This means that all of the students are out to celebrate, using the holiday as an excuse to party. Many of them are wearing costumes that don’t cover up much of anything and are in between being teens and real adults. They are all getting ready to have a wild evening full of drinking and to see where the night takes them.

Leda is one of the students who is out to party on campus, and things seem to be going well. The night has a lot of promise, and she intends to exploit this to her advantage and have one of the greatest nights out ever. She is able to flirt with her crush, a guy named Ian, and is over the moon when he flirts with her back. Things are going well but as the night continues, there is plenty of time for things to take a turn for the worse.

A young woman is talking with Leda outside the party, but it isn’t too long before she ends up going missing. Leda wakes up the next morning in Ian’s room and isn’t certain what has gone on between the two of them. As the campus starts to wake up, they slowly realize that the young woman has gone missing.

The rumors immediately start up and the facts start to compile. Leda hears about the situation and starts to become emotionally involved. As the woman still remains missing in action, she becomes obsessed with everything about it and starts trying to figure it all out herself.

Could it be a coincidence that Ian actually used to date Charlotte– the girl that went missing? Could he tied to it? By looking into things further, could Leda be putting her own personal safety at risk?

Leda finds herself poring over the details and starting to be consumed by all of this. She is fascinated by the mystery of what has happened and her own questions regarding what actually occurred. She starts to question whether she is really interested in finding Charlotte or whether at the end of the day this is really about finding herself.

Inside this novel, the author is a powerful storyteller who has been able to draw in the reader to become just as interested in what happened to Charlotte as Leda is. Can this missing woman be found or is it too late for anything to be done? Can Leda get back to her original life? Find out by reading Leda and the Swan by Anna Caritj!
