Babak Lakghomi is known as the author of Dundum Press’s South and Tyrant Books’ Floating Notes.

He was born in Tehran, Iran. He currently resides in Toronto, where he writes.

His fiction has been featured in publications such as NOON, Fence, American Short Fiction, Ninth Letter, and The Adroit Journal. His writing has been translated into Italian and Farsi.

Floating Notes is a novella of intrigue, love, murder, and mystery. In the space of one hundred pages, the author creates a unique narrator, a god in a rented room. There things appear and disappear from his life.
