Beck Dorey-Stein is a published author.

She is a native of Narberth, Pennsylvania, the place where she grew up. She attended Wesleyan University, and graduated. Before she spent five years in the White House, where she was a White House stenographer (2012-2017), she taught high school English in Hightstown, New Jersey as well as Washington, D.C. and Seoul, South Korea.

Her debut book to come out was From the Corner of the Oval and was a New York Times bestseller. Today, she resides on the coast of Maine.
