Publication Order of Boston Rebels Books

Julia Connors is a published author and a USA Today bestseller.

She grew up in California, a place where it is warm and sunny out quite a bit. But she was seventeen years old when she relocated to Boston and it was time to trade in the flip-flops in order to don a pair of snow boots.

Julia has enjoyed pretty much everything that New England has to offer ever since that day and she has gotten used to all of the cold winters and found the places where she can order some quality sushi and tacos, so she has no regrets about the move.

She can be typically found working in front of a computer. When she is not writing you can usually find her somewhere outdoors. If it’s winter, she has a pair of skis or snowshoes strapped on. If it’s the summer, Julia is likely on a paddle board.

Center Ice is the first book in the Boston Rebels series by Julia Connors. If you are the type of romance fan that loves to read something light and frothy, and you enjoy when sports teams are added in the mix, this might be the right book for you.

Drew is the first guy to admit that he’s a wild card type. He’ll take to the ice and start a fight, or else he’ll serve as the life of the party while he is off of it. But even though he seems like he’s the type of guy to go out and have a good time, not everything is always as it looks.

He’s been traded to the Boston Rebels and if he’s being honest with himself, this trade is coming at the perfect time. Drew has obligations to his family to go through on and he’s also got a contract renewal with a new hockey team to contend with. He doesn’t have time for much else and he needs to focus on what he has going on. He comes back to Boston with an understanding that he’s going to have to get serious and focus on what is really important at the end of the day.

The first night that Drew has come back to town, he finds himself surprised when he runs into Audrey. She was his college calculus tutor and they had a little fling together before he got drafted into the NHL. But it’s been some time and it turns out that she has a son who is right with her. He is five years old and Drew is running the numbers in his head– the odds that it is his kid are high. He doesn’t need a tutor to help him see that.

Audrey is saying that she doesn’t want Drew to be involved in Graham’s life unless he’s able to really commit to being a father. However, Drew has so much going on in his own life that it feels like it’s the worst possible timing, despite the fact that he really does want to be there.

Making things more difficult is the fact that the time that he spends with Audrey and Graham feels right. As a result, he ends up being left questioning everything that he thought he wanted. Before his goals were so clear to him, but now he’s finding that there is way more out there for him than just life on the rink.

What he wants could end up costing him one way or another. If he picks his family he could be saying goodbye to the game that he has dedicated his entire life to. If he picks the rink over his son and the woman he cares about, they might not ever have the chance to bond and be together in the same way and he’ll miss out on something big. What will he do? Read the debut in this series to find out.

Fake Shot is the second book in the Boston Rebels series by Julia Connors. Readers who loved the first book in this series can keep the sparks going by reading this adventurous romantic sequel featuring the two characters of Colt and Jules.

Colt was tending goal for the Boston Rebels for years and after doing that he has become known for having the highest save percentage in the league. Outside of the rink, he is famous for being the guy who doesn’t spend the night with the same woman twice.

He knows who he is and what his reputation is, and understands that he’s not the guy that you trust when it comes to being around your friend, or even your best friend’s little sister. In this case that sister is Jules, who is eight years younger than Colt and who also happens to be his new roommate.

Colt sees her on the precipice of having a panic attack while another man is intimidating her, so he has to step in. He thinks quickly and says that she is his fiancée and kisses her, which brings them to the third thing that he is known for, which is making quick and impulsive decisions.

A video of them sharing a hot kiss together ends up getting recorded and goes viral. After that, it seems like the entire world thinks that they are engaged. The worst part is that Colt has to play along or else the consequences could be dire, such as losing his position as the starting goalie for the Rebels. Jules’ career and her reputation could also end up going down.

So while the engagement may not be all that authentic, Colt is having to consider that the attraction and the relationship between the two of them is real. He remembers the way that she tastes to him, and how he felt when her body was wrapped around his. It’s all real and the more that they hang out together and spend time getting to know each other, the less that it all seems like pretending to be together.

The secrets from Colt’s past don’t seem to be as important when he is with her. But it turns out that Jules might just have some of her own secrets and getting to the bottom of them might end up healing Colt– or breaking him for good.
