Bryan Lee O’Malley is a Canadian Cartoonist, who is best known for writing the six-volume Scott Pilgrim series.

He was born on February 21, 1979. He is also known to perform using the alias Kupek as a musician and has been a songwriter and musician, belonging to several short-lived bands.

The first graphic novel that he produced was the 2003 work Lost at Sea. The work deals with a shy eighteen year old named Raleigh as she comes of age and thinks that her soul was taken by a cat. She ultimately departs on a road trip across with the U.S. with some fellow teens that she does not know all that well. Bryan saw his graphic novel Seconds come out in 2014 from Ballantine Books.

The artist first went to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Secondary School in London, Ontario, Canada. He would then attend the University of Western Ontario studying film studies but dropped out before he could complete it.

Before having his own art published, he served as an illustrator for Hopeless Savages: Ground Zero by Jen Van Meter. He lettered many Oni comics, and was the artist on a large amount of output by Chynna Clugston from 2002-2005.

While working on Scott Pilgrim from 2004 to 2010, the series proved so successful critically and commercially that the initial black and white book publication from Oni Press led to a full color re-release as well as the adaptation into the 2010 film Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and a video game and anime adaptation as well as official soundtracks.

He also was the creator of the art work for Fez, a 2012 video game. He would then see Seconds come out and in 2016 revealed the title of his graphic novel to come Worst World, which does not have a release date. He co-created the comic book Snot Girl with Leslie Hung.

He is Korean in descent on his mother’s side and on his father’s side Irish and French-Canadian.

O’Malley got married to Hope Larson in 2004, also a cartoonist. The pair resided together in several different locations over the years but would ultimately separate through divorce in 2014.

He has won several awards and a lot of recognition for his work. This includes the 2005 Doug Wright Award for Best Emerging Talent. He also received several 2005 Harvey Award nominations as well as a 2005 Eagle Awards nomination, a 2005 Joe Shuster Award nomination, a 2006 Eisner Award nomination, a 2006 Joe Shuster Award, a 2006 Doug Wright Award nomination, two 2007 Harvey Award nominations, a 2007 Joe Shuster Award nomination, and many more.

Bryan also won the 2010 Eisner Award for best humor publication, a 2010 Harvey Award Special Award for Humor in Comics, a Lulu Award for best female character Ramona Flowers, and a 2015 Joe Shuster Award for Outstanding Canadian Comic Book Cartoonist Writer/Artist.

You can probably find him residing in Los Angeles and continuing to create comics.

Scott Pilgrim’s Precious Little Life is the first book in the Scott Pilgrim series of graphic novels by Bryan Lee O’Malley, author and illustrator. Fans may be already aware of the excellent movie adaptation starring Michael Cera as the intrepid Scott Pilgrim, and now they have the chance to go see how all of it started.

This book originally came out in black and white but did so well that it was converted to color. Whether you are a first time reader of the series or going back to revisit all of the magic from one of the most popular and original visual comic stories of all time, this debut has everything that graphic novel readers would want out of a series– and maybe more!

Scott Pilgrim is of course the main character, and he has a pretty awesome life. Everything about it is just so sweet. He is twenty-three years old, he is a member of a rock band, he is dating a cute girl in high school and he is currently ‘between jobs’. It’s at the point where he thinks that nothing could go wrong, but is that accurate or just wishful thinking?

When a mind blowing rollerblading delivery girl in the fashionable form of Ramona Flowers starts moving through his dreams, he’s intrigued. But then she starts sailing by him when he’s out at parties, and he realizes that this dream girl is not only real– she is within reach.

Scott loves his great life, but this has the potential to turn it all upside down. He’s also going to have to prepare to face the seven evil exes of Ramona in battle if he wants to attempt to win her over. This debut in the series is lots of fun, so grab a copy and see what all the fuss is about!

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World is the second book in the Scott Pilgrim series of graphic novels by author and illustrator Bryan Lee O’Malley. If you thought that the first installment of this series was a lot of fun, check out the second one and keep all of the adventure going.

Scott and Ramona are seeing each other, but it’s still early days. Even though things have just gotten started, does their relationship have enough legs to have a future? It’s also worth mentioning that it appears that Scott is supposed to still be dating Knives Chau.

Scott also needs to find out who the second evil ex of Ramona’s is and why he has shown up in Toronto. Readers will also discover all of these things through the process along with Scott, as well as who The Clash at Demonhead are and the art punk music that they play, who their hot girl keyboardist is, and why Scott knows her.

It appears that Knives Chau has also gotten on board and The Clash at Demonhead is her new favorite band. With plenty of drama, fights, and battles in store, readers can find out all the answers by getting their hands on Scott Pilgrim vs. The World by Bryan Lee O’Malley!
