Buck Turner is an American published author.

He is a natural storyteller who is recognized not only for a diverse style of writing but for his natural ability to be able to blur the lines between genres. He is a literary chameleon who has written several different novels. No matter what the story is, he is able to give his readers an emotional experience that they will not soon be able to forget.

As with any author, Buck also has his own personal taste in writers. Some of the authors that he enjoys include Nicholas Sparks, Ernest Hemingway, Lisa Jewell, Robert Louis Stevenson, and George Orwell.

Buck attended Lincoln Memorial University and graduated. He has an undergraduate degree in the fine arts and also holds a Master’s in business. He grew up for much of his childhood in the east part of Tennessee. He pulls from his experiences in the South for much of his writing inspiration, such as the rich traditions, the religion, the diverse characters, and the small towns that are charming and often the backdrops for his stories.

When not preoccupied writing, Buck can be found playing golf, fishing, spending some time with his family, drawing, and painting.

The Keeper of Stars is the first in the series by the same name by Buck Turner. If you are a fan of writers such as Nicholas Sparks, this might just be the perfect sweet romance for you.

This is the story about a young woman who appears to have dreams that are too large in order to let love come into her life. When she gets a strange package that she wasn’t expected from a former flame, she wonders what is inside before opening it. The package comes a decade after various circumstances ended up pulling them apart.

When it comes to writing the stars, who says that you can’t rewrite them? The year is 1962, and that is when Jack Bennett, a native of Tennessee, ends up meeting the out of towner known as Ellie Spencer. It is not too long before he is falling for this young woman head over heels.

Her greatest love has always been the stars up in the night sky. That is, until she met Jack. Their summer romance grows as they spend more time together, and they are determined to make it work and be together even though there might have been various circumstances that have the potential to make sure that they are not.

Just when Jack is able to rest easy thinking that they have secured a future together, it ends up that their romance together is tragically made shorter than ever thanks to forces that are going on beyond their control.

It has now been twelve more years. Dr. Elizabeth Spencer is a professor of astronomy and is surprised when she gets a package in the mail. She opens it up and inside is a book, all about a man and woman who meet at the edge of the water over the course of a magical summer and end up falling in love.

The further that she gets into the story, the more that Ellie realizes that it is not just any story. It is the story of them together. Tucked into the stories of gazing at the stars and stolen kissing is a bit detail that ends up making her question everything.

Looking for the truth, Ellie goes back to the edge of the water. Is it too late to do anything about this? Or did Jack write this story just in time for them to go back and rewrite the stars, changing their mutual destiny forever? Read this book to find out!

A Thousand Distant Shores is the second book in The Keeper of Stars series by Buck Turner. If you liked the first book in the series, keep things going by checking out this delightful sequel in the series.

Jack Bennett had his eyes on Sara Coffee for as long as he can remember. She had been the biggest star in his universe before Ellie Spencer arrived at Sims Chapel and caught the attention of Jack. Before this, Sara had been best friends with Jack for a long time. They had a special bond together that was as special as can be, formed naturally over the endless days of summer that they spent fishing and sharing their dreams with each other.

When Ellie Spencer came onto the scene, suddenly it was like everything changed. Sara suddenly would do anything that it takes to keep the attention of Jack on her, seeing that she has competition that could potentially ruin everything. She ends up taking things into her own hands and gets the romance off the table before it can get anywhere.

Now it’s been twelve years down the line and it seems like Sara has it all. This includes Jack. When Ellie comes back once more thanks to the passing of a relative, Sara finds herself in a hauntingly familiar situation. This time she is once more on the outside, and she doesn’t like it.

Worse, Jack finds out about her betrayal all those years ago. Once that comes to the surface, Jack concludes their relationship and Sara is left shattered. Now she has to end up picking herself up and putting herself back together.

Looking to start again, Sara leaves the place that she thought was her forever home. She is able to settle down in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, a quiet and secluded beach town. She ends up getting a job working as a paralegal for the successful lawyer Andrew Hastings, a man who departed from the city after going through his own painful breakup.

Right from the beginning, there’s a chemistry between the two of them and it only gets stronger as they work together on their very first case. Can Sara find it in herself to be vulnerable and open her heart up to someone new, or is she going to find out that the past has influenced her more than she would care to admit? Can she move on from Jack and find true love? Read this book to find out!
