Cascadia Wolves is a series of paranormal and erotic romance books written by a bestselling American author of Erotic Romance and romance novels, Lauren Dane. Cascadia Wolves series is centered on the Warden siblings as each sibling finds a mate. Set in Seattle, the Cascadia Wolves series features four interconnected novels, and two standalone novels and multiple book story arcs.

Lauren Dane began the publication of Cascadia Wolves series in 2006 when Enforcer the first book in the series was published. Reluctant (2006) is the backstory novel while Fated is a novel that occurs about one and a half year after Standoff ends.

The primary series story arch includes: Standoff, Wolf Unbound, Tri Mates and Enforcer- all these four main novels follow the narrative of a bioweapon another group of wolves, a well-planned crime family is developing and one that threatens the peaceful co-existence with the humans and each other.

Trinity is the first novel by Jack Meyer is the spin off into a new novel series De La Vega Cats Series set in Boston. This series is a part (related) to Cascadia Wolves series but majorly focuses on the de La Vega Jaguar Jamboree.

Enforcer

Enforcer is the first book in Cascadia Wolves series by Lauren Dane. Nina Reyes can sense trouble when she sees it and the Enforcer for the local werewolf pack, Lex Warden, is nothing but trouble.

When her brother gets himself into some big deal with some deadly werewolves and comes running to Nina for help alongside dragging a handsome alpha protector to her life- Nina can handle it. She might have put her swindles past behind her, but she still got what it takes, if only she did not find Lex’s (his scent, his domineering nature, his smell) so intoxicating.

As an enforcer, Lex primary duty is to protect his people from danger, but Nina might be a person capable of handling herself than Lex initially thought, but this does not mean Nina is safe from her enemies.

Lex needs to protect Nina is more than just pack business- Nina is a human and his soul mate. Making out with her once is not satisfying enough and to satisfy his wolf nature, Lex needs a real bond.

The steamy heat between them frightens Nina, but at times the reward is worth the risk, and the thought of living a life without the man she has come to love terrifies her even more than any threat werewolf pack can pose. However, Lex is determined to do whatever it takes to keep the woman he loves safe, and when the rogues finally catch up with them, he will get a chance to prove it to the world.

The first book in Cascadia Wolves series is a brilliant read, the author, Lauren Dane, builds both the plot and the characters with equal ease. The main characters are Nina Reyes and Lex Warden, who are beautifully woven.

Nina Reyes has lived a tough life, her parents died when she was a teenager and was left to raise her young brother, but the two ends up homeless. To survive and feed her brother, Nina turns to crime, as a computer hacker which she is surprisingly good at. Despite her excellent talent in computer hacking, she knows that hacking is and so she vows to quit once she has sufficient money to care for her brother. Unfortunate her brother gets himself into the wrong crowd, and while Nina thinks that she can finally get along well with her life, her brother Ryan shows up on her front door with rogue werewolves set to kill him. Once again she vows to do whatever it takes to protect him.

On the other hand, Lex is the enforcer and the 2nd in command to one of the largest werewolf packs in the country. His reputation antecedes him as being one of the most ruthless enforcers ever to live, and this makes to be one of the most respected in the pack. Lex instincts tell him that Nina’s brother has gotten himself into trouble with the rogue werewolves, and as his position demands, he sets off to meet Ryan.

Lex finds himself on Nina’s doorstep and is immediately surprised, as there is something about Nina that grabs his full attention, besides from the gun at her hand. One thing leads to another, and that marks the beginning of their lifelong love journey.

Only 164 pages, Enforcer has all the elements of a 400-page novel. Nina is a likable character; she is brave, streetwise, and sarcastic and possesses everything a man would want in a woman. Lex is the perfect mate for her; he is brave, strong, and sometimes stubborn and combined with Nina they make for some great entertainment worth reading.

The main plot of the novel revolves the decoding of a virus and the creation of an experimental vaccine. To keep the reader entertained, Lauren Danes adds subplots and some “in between the sheets scenes.”

Tri Mates

Werewolves mate for life and every werewolf has a partner out there. So trace is happy when she finds out that Nick Lawrence, one of the handsome Enforcer for another wolf Pack, is her lifelong mate.

However, at times, the lucky wolves can get into a deep double-dip in form of a rare Tri-Mate-Bond, and so when Tracy realizes that her bond with a National Pack Mediator Murphy is far more, suddenly Tracy finds herself with two alpha males who love for her seems never to fade.

Unfortunately, their happiness is soon ruined by the heavy hand of the werewolf gang whose reach goes up high. Kidnapping, money laundering, assault and other mayhem cannot ruin the intensity of their bond, but for sure it can destroy their lives.

The second book in Cascadia Wolves series by Lauren Dane is a brilliant read, set in a universe where when the wolves mate, a bond must be formed between the male and the female. The characters are well woven, for example, there is Tracy, and she is quirky, different from others but stays true to herself regardless of what other people think of her. She is strong, sharp, loves her family and is close to her pack. The Trim Mates is a super steam read, and one of the best paranormal/erotic romance novels.
