Curtis Craddock is a published author of fiction.

He says that he was born in the wrong century, and possibly on the wrong planet. He thinks that he ought to have been born in the type of world where heroes regularly vanquish their foes, where courage, wit, romance and friendship are the foundations of culture and civilization, and where you can find adventure beckoning from every shadow.

He was instead born on Earth and resides in a world bounded by bureaucracy, hemmed in by cynicism, and governed by the necessity of earning a wage. He is an exile in this world and is a biographer of friends that he has never met, chronicles events that never happened, and is a cartographer for places that never have existed.

The author is a rescuer that spends his time saving cats and dogs and the occasional bird of prey. By day, he is a teacher of computer information systems to offenders at a correctional facility. By night, he puts on his writer’s hat and etches defiant words of legend into the prison walls of reality.
