Dee J. Holmes is a Canadian published author and a visual artist. She has spent decades in various mediums creating imagery. She ended up creating book covers out of the desire to see her characters. She has started with her own covers and evolved to crafting personalized covers that are mindfully branded for other authors too.

Dee enjoys drawing and she enjoys writing. She is married and resides with her husband in Vancouver, a beautiful place where they also take their Great Dane named Fable for walks. She loves to go on long walks with her gigantic dog when not creating something visually or through her words, and when she is not busy doing that she likes to play video games with her husband.

She really enjoys coming up with the types of exciting stories that are able to tug at emotions and maybe even stir some passion and excitement, ushering readers into different new worlds and leaving them always wanting more.

There may be doubt or fear or darkness along the way, but the author assures her readers that she will always end her stories in the light. She loves to come up with her own twisting stories full of nonstop action and characters that are impossible to forget.

Dee encourages readers to open the door and to come and explore the worlds that she has created. She promises that the reader will find characters that are not only smart but complex who are coming up against the odds that seem nearly impossible. She promises also that the dog in the story will always live. Pick up a story and get pulled in, seeing your heart rate rise in the process as you head for an ending that is happily ever after.

She really likes to write stories that feature breakers of rules and rebels. She loves monsters and enjoys their love lives, and she also likes to come up with worlds rooted in science fiction and the paranormal, and doesn’t mind playing around with zombies when it comes to her stories.

She knows that she wants to take on her manipulative aunt and prove to her and the world that she is finally done with all things having to do with blood magic.

In its place, she discovers a basement that is filled with prisoners as well as a false-mate bond with a werewolf who may be very attractive but is totally off limits to her. Things are really heating up. Of course, the more off limits something is, the more that you want it. It’s oddly tempting to Rose, which should make her suspicious.
