Dianne J. Wilson is a published American author. She writes in several genres that include romantic comedy, romantic suspense, young adult fantasy, and women’s fiction.

She has explored the spiritual truth that is woven through all of everyday life dashed with adventure and humor that is tongue in cheek, in a way that the author says is always soaked in the grace of God. Dianne likes to write in moments that she steals away to herself, often in the backseat of her car.

Dianne’s home is Makhanda, also known as Grahamstown, a university town in South Africa. She is married and lives there with her husband as well as their three daughters. The family members all take turns being at their home.

She says that when it comes to her love language, it’s tea and going on long drives and listening to songs along with her girls. She loves to write but when she is not writing in her car, she is usually cooking something up to feed to all of the hungry people at home who expect something when mealtime rolls around.

Dianne is known for writing all types of series in different genres, including the Spirit Walkers series for young adults in urban fantasy, romantic suspense and mystery with the Sunshine Coast series, and pursuing comedy and mystery in The List Books series.

The Cake List is the first book in The List Books by Dianne J. Wilson. If you love a good contemporary Christian romance then check this story out!

When it comes to getting things done, Meg is addicted. She wants to do as many things as she can and is making a list of what she wants to do. She wants to do something brave, wants to do something kind, something selfless, and maybe even reexamine her sense of faith and figure out God.

There are people out there who come up with their bucket lists of things that they want to do before they die. But to Meg, she’s not worried about when she dies. She’s worried about the birthday that is coming up and it is taking up a lot of her focus.

She made up her own list of things that she wants to do and complete before she gets to that moment where she blows out the candles and eats the birthday cake. It’s not going as well as she had hoped, but she just has to work on it a little.

Meg is going through a lot at the moment, to be fair. She has just gone through a break up, which is a huge shakeup for anyone. She also has a huge birthday coming up and so she decides to get out of her comfort zone and do something new by signing up to take dance classes. But she has no idea that she’s about to have more stretched than simply her muscles through the course of things.

Meg would love to complete her list, but there’s so much going on that she doubts whether she is going to be able to get it done. She’s dealing with so many things at the moment, including a dance instructor, the secrets that he’s keeping, a neighbor who is nothing but grumpy as well as a fish that doesn’t seem to be able to swim in a straight line, and so much more.

From the beginning it seems like there is so much to get done. Could it have been doomed to fail from the start? Meg is convinced that she’s got to cross every single thing off of her list. Going on this adventure may be impossible, but she’s willing to try. But will she push herself out of her comfort zone so effectively that she doesn’t go back? Will she be happy that she completed her intended tasks, or will it end up being all too anticlimactic to enjoy? Read this book to find out!

A Shopping List of Noes is the second book in The List Books by Dianne J. Wilson. If you like a cute romance that keeps things light, check out the second installment of this series and see what you think.

Main character Isla-Skye Whittaker may not always know what she wants, but she does know what she doesn’t want. She has been caring for her terminally ill mother for years, the woman who doesn’t want to go out in the world.

When her mother passes away, Isla is no longer tied to having to care for her mother and contend with all of the difficult emotions of doing so. She is in the process of packing up her things after the funeral, and discovers a laptop containing emails that show a different picture. She starts wondering that when it comes to her mom, how well did she actually know her?

Isla is driven by curiosity and duty and goes on an adventure to try and track down her mother’s friend collection and deliver news that she has passed in person. She has no idea that this will take her into contact with an old friend from the past.

Griffin Stewart was always the boy who lived next door. He was her best friend for some time until they went through an awkward experience when they were twelve years old that destined their friendship for the shredder.

After that, they parted ways with each other and both moved on in life. Now things have changed as they have both grown up. Now she goes back to her old neighborhood, going into the backyard of Griffin. She goes on a road trip that soon gets into an even bigger adventure.

In the process, Isla might take on all of the ‘never’ things on her list that she never said that she would do and do them anyway. Will they lead to her to love with Griffin, or is that something that was never destined to be in the cards anyway? Read this book, the second installment of the series, to find out!
