Erin Johnson is a successful American published author.

She is a native of Tempe, Arizona but has recently found a new home in the Pacific Northwest that she loves. Erin likes to spend her free time coming up with mysterious stories that are magical and full of romance that have the goal of making the reader laugh.

Minnie Wells thought you were supposed to do whatever it takes to support your guy. Even if this means moving away from the source of your witch magic and making your way through writer’s block for five whole years.

It was all working out until it wasn’t. Her soon to be ex decided that he wanted to be with another woman instead and ended up leaving her high and dry. Minnie has now come back to Bath, and the magic from the town’s enchanted springs is moving through her veins. She’s more ready than ever to explore her new witch powers and to write her novel.

It seems only reasonable. Bath helped to inspire her favorite writer, Jane Austen. It only seems logical that being here would also work for her and help her to write the novel she always wanted to. Despite all of this, there is a catch. Once the divorce has been finalized Minnie will be deported and sent back to the United States. This means that she will lose her powers again unless she is able to convince the handsome vampire owner of a tea room that is struggling to make it to take her on and hire her.

She’s already dealing with more trouble than she would like and while contending with all of this she is shocked when an employee suddenly drops dead during her interview. Now Minnie is going to have to take on this murder and solve it to clear the name of the cafe while also doing her best to try and figure out some type of way that she can get more customers.

Luckily, Minnie has the help of her vampire roommate and their black cat familiar. She’s tracking the killer and is right after them. But when the killer puts her in their sights, she’s going to have to go deeply into her own magic and strength if she wants to rescue herself as well as bring a killer in and expose them to justice. Is Minnie going to be able to catch this killer and rescue the tea room, or will she discover that she is the killer’s next target? Read this book to find out!

It is way more cozy than one would expect, especially for being owned by someone who doesn’t exactly have warm blood pumping through their veins.

One would have thought that serving afternoon tea to a high society ladies club would go well, but that’s not always the case. Minnie Wells is a new witch and a marketing whiz and she thought that things would be smooth with this gig, something that she desperately needs.

Her schedule is already full up to the brim as she takes on magic lessons, marketing the tea room, and making her way through a divorce that is taking place during what is arguably the most romantic time of the year. The Galentine’s Day celebration takes on a full whirlwind of chaos, however, when the event coordinator is attacked– stabbed in the back with a stiletto.

Minnie also has to contend with her boss, who she has found handsome from the minute that she first saw him. While she would be the first to admit that she has a crush on him, she’s dismayed to find out that he’s gotten into trouble with the vampire council and the group doesn’t have a guide. She takes on the job after being offered the position for the weekend and agrees to show these women around Bath.

It’s the perfect time because she could use a little extra cash so that she can stop crashing on her best friend’s couch with her cat. She also is going to get herself an all-access pass that lets her check out the killer and clear the name of her boss. It should be easy, right?

Minnie starts to get a little stressed when a new body turns up and she thinks that she is at last in over her head. This is too much even for her. She knows that she needs to figure out who is gunning for these ladies as well as rescue her boss from the wrath of the vampire council, but it’s all starting to add up and the pressure is affecting her.
