She is known for writing young adult works. She grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, where she read and wrote avidly like so many others. She graduated from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine in 2021.

These days she works on the East Coast as a paralegal and an author. During the night time, Saoirse even goes on to lie about her true identity. Not only that, to her family she tells the biggest lie of all, which is that she can keep her siren powers in check and control them. She’s not constantly struggling and working against an impulse inside of her to kill.

Saoirse is the top trainee in her class, and she would be headed for a bright future if it were not for the need to keep everything that she holds secret out of the spotlight. But things shift when an unknown blackmailer threatens her sister. So it is that she takes on a dangerous job that she thinks will be an aid in helping her investigate, becoming a personal bodyguard for the crown prince.

You would think that Saoirse would hate Prince Hayes. His father is the one who is enforcing the brutal creature segregation laws of the kingdom. However, Hayes ends up turning out to be thoughtful, kind, and charming, and she finds herself more than ever drawn to him when they are forced to work together to try and keep a deadly killer from striking again in the city where they are claiming innocent victims one by one.

The only trouble with this is the fact that Saoirse is in fact that killer. Featuring a cast that is black and brown, a romance that is forbidden, a plot that is full of twists to keep the reader turning the page, this is a great young adult fantasy thriller that you have to check out if you love the genre!
