Gerry Griffiths is a published American author. He likes to write horror and thriller short stories.

Gerry has gotten honorable mentions from Writer’s Digest and the Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazines. Five of the short stories that came out in Creatures, his first published book, were recognized in the 77th/78th Annual Writer’s Digest Writing Competitions.

More of his stories can be discovered in Frightmares; A Fistful of Flash Fiction Horror, as well as Dark Moon Digest and Dark Eclipse, an e-magazine.

Gerry was born in Paget, Bermuda. He made his way across the Atlantic on the Queen Mary, making his way with his English parents to America. He got his first nosebleed while standing on the observation deck of the Empire State Building when he was one year old.

In addition to being a really big horror fan, Gerry as well as his family are the proud parents of four rescue dogs. He lives with his family in San Jose, California.

Sabertooth is the first book in the Deep in the Wild series by Gerry Griffiths. If you’re a reader who has been looking for a unique new story to read that feels original and a departure from the same old that is out there, this might be the right book for you.

Wade Freeman refuses to heed a warning to evacuate. Now he and his family have remained behind so that they can protect their home, which unfortunately lies directly in the horrific path of a hurricane. Despite everything that happens, they are not able to control the storm. After it’s over, seeing the devastation almost feels like too much for them to bear.

Wade is really hoping that he can lock down a better future. Now he has moved his family deep into the wilderness of Canada so that they can be a part of New Haven, a remote riverside community, based on the advice of his brother.

Close by in the uncharted territory, a group of scientists land upon an incredible discovery. They discover descendants that still exist of prehistoric creatures that were able to roam the Earth ten thousand years ago. It’s possible that Wade would have been better off keeping his family where they were. Can he figure out what to do and make sure that they are all safe? Read this book to find out!

Direwolves is the second book in the Deep in the Wild series by Gerry Griffiths. If you thought that the first book in this series was great, check out this story and see what you think.

Wade Freeman goes through a family tragedy that leaves him completely consumed with rage. Then he goes on a dangerous journey to go into the Canadian wilderness so that he can hunt a sabertooth tiger down, all while his son and wife have to make it through the difficult conditions of their new home in a remote rural community of criminals that is called New Haven.

Miles away, a paleontology is working out of the abandoned North Star Weather Station that is located high in the peaks of the mountain. They’re being stalked by a pack of apex predators that was thought to be extinct, but modern evidence is apparently proving them wrong.

Creatures have made their way out from a wildlife preserve that is isolated and top-secret. They’ve been spawned from an experimental facility called The Cenozoic Project that has been making bio-engineered prehistoric mammals for the past three decades. What will happen? Check out the second book in Gerry Griffiths’ series to find out!
