She was born on November 5, 1967 in Stockholm, Sweden. Ia first became a writer in the eyes of the public with her debut of the novel Sweet Friday. The English translation done by Kira Josefsson made the shortlist for the 2024 International Booker Prize.

Then there is also Alejandro, who has been campaigning for a boy despite the fact that he thinks their love has no future. There is also Brigitte, a woman whose qualities are able to cover for a painful secret.

This is a novel that revolves around four different portraits and the little details out there that can make up an entire life once they are put together. Is a loved one really able to disappear?
