J.L. Hyde is an American published author.

Having grown up in the upper peninsula of Michigan, Hyde is familiar with the area. She proudly graduated from Central Michigan University, and she lives in Delta County.

When Hyde is not busy writing novels, or cheering on her favorite team the Green Bay Packers, she can usually be discovered watching true crime documentaries or else enjoying some time in northern Michigan in the great outdoors.

She is a twenty year veteran of the hospitality industry who found her love for writing once more when she was let go from her job.
