Jacquie says that she loves watching reality television shows as her guilty pleasure, taking in shows like Amazing Race or The Voice. The author has always loved writing. She tends to procrastinate, but she likes to get whatever task that she can get done quickly. Then she doesn’t have to worry about it any longer. She always worked hard in school to do her best and was always in the top ten, but missed two weeks of grade nine one year due to measles and had under a week to come up with a language arts story or fail.

But then she decided to give the teacher an essay if he wanted one, coming up with a silly story called Count Daffodil. She spent all day writing and turned it in the next day, immediately thinking that the teacher wouldn’t like it.

After waiting two weeks to hear back, the teacher gave her a rave review. He praised her writing style and the suspense of the story, and read it and shared it with other classes. Due to this experience, Jacquie says that a writer was born.

Her first book was published in 2014 and is titled Tidal Falls. It is a romantic suspense story that is all about second chances. She has since gone full steam into the romance world, and loves to write about alpha males who get their world turned upside down by the strong women that show them that love might be the thing that they are lacking. She also enjoys writing happily ever after endings for her characters to enjoy. She also really enjoys coffee.
