Jane lives in New York City as well as Fire Island along with her husband and their three daughters. She regularly contributes to publications such as the Huffington Post, Tablet, Redbook, and the New York Times.

She is known for her debut novel Nine Women, One Dress, which has done extremely well and has been translated into multiple languages. Her second book, Eliza Starts a Rumor, was optioned by NBC.

Nine Women, One Dress is the debut fictional work from Jane L. Rosen. This is a funny novel that focuses on nine different women that have no relation to each other that are touched by a little black dress that comes into their lives and causes a little magic to happen. The main character in this story is Natalie. She’s a salesgirl at Bloomingdale’s who cannot stop thinking about her ex-boyfriend. The guy was a lawyer and she thought that they were going to live happily ever after, until he got engaged to a girl that was not her. The worst part about it all is that it had only been two months into it.

Then there’s Felicia, who has always had feelings for her boss. It’s been two decades and he’s always been happy in his marriage, so she never acted on it. But now he’s a widower and going through life alone. She knows that it’s just one right situation to get him to see her as being more than just a great executive assistant to him.

There’s also Andrea. She works as a private detective and is the kind of girl who gets evidence that husbands are cheating. It’s been helpful to transform her experiences from real life into something that she can earn money from. But she just can’t understand why her gut is saying that the guy she’s falling for is a good guy, because she hasn’t trusted men in a very long time.

Eliza Starts a Rumor is a 2020 fictional novel from author Jane L. Rosen. This project is also in development to be adapted. This is a sweet novel that revolves around four women, a lie, and the consequences that come from it.

Main character Eliza Hunt came up with The Hudson Valley Ladies’ Bulletin Board over a decade ago, but things have changed so much for her since then. Back then, she was involved in her suburban life that was just photo perfect with her husband and their white picket fence and the twins in preschool.

Now she’s dealing with something that is totally different. Everyone’s flown the coop and she’s also developed a really tough case of agoraphobia. What was once just something that she did as a hobby became the thing that allowed her to have something that kept her going.

It only makes sense when another parenting forum threatens the site that Eliza takes it a bit personally. She doesn’t even think about it before making up a rumor that could heat things up, but the small amount of heat quickly turns into a bigger flame.

Olivia York is a new mom that reads something on the Bulletin Board that throws her for a loop. Allison Le is becoming friends online and communicating with someone who might not be who she’s portraying. Then a friend of Eliza’s from childhood, Amanda Cole, may hold some type of key as to understanding why it is that Eliza is having a tough time getting out of the door.
