L.B. Anne is a published author known for writing the Sheena Meyer series, which was a bestseller on Amazon.

Readers may also know her for writing different series, including the Lolo and Winkle series, the Curly Girl Adventures, Brave New World, Everfall, Children of the Glades series, and others. Main character Sheena Meyer is a sweetheart. She is naturally empathetic and very sharp. She is the girl who brings along another sandwich with her to school every day, in case another student needs a lunch. She also looks into everything, full of questions and ready to investigate it all. It’s something that makes her parents and teachers frustrated!

Most days, Sheena is just waiting around for some big event to come along and change everything. This is not what she had pictured. The Murk is after her, all thanks to a gift that she isn’t even aware that she has. Years ago, an angel came and appeared to certain kids all over the globe. It appeared in front of a 4 year old girl in Michigan in a willow tree– the only who saw it and had the gift. That girl was Sheena.

Now she is 13 years old and has forgotten about what she saw all the way back then. That all shifts when her dad is in a horrible accident and she sees a supernatural being go down and save him. She says that she saw what happened and asks them to come back.

Next, an older man, a new kid coming to school, and some odd texts will end up changing all that Sheena has ever believed in. The Girl Who Spoke to the Wind is the second book in the Sheena Meyer series by L.B. Anne. Sheena is back for more adventures, much to the delight of those who enjoyed following along with the character in the first book.

This time, in order to help the people that she cares about, Sheena has to look at where is afraid the most and take the jump when it comes to putting her trust in angels. What she doesn’t know is that yet another mystery is on its way towards her.

Sheena ends up finding out that her family has been keeping something big from her. From the day that she saw the supernatural being existing in the hospital with her own eyes, she has entered into another world. The world that she knew that day died and was replaced with a new one.

This is a world where angels are able to send text messages, where the Murk can be carried with the wind, and where she almost gets killed while seeing a kidnapping. Sheena must team up with Chana and Theodore, her two best friends, and go into a risky investigation together in order to answer Sheena’s questions.

She has three questions, mostly about who she is, what she believes, and whether they are all in danger. Sheena might just end up finding out the truth, but there’s no guarantee that it will make her feel better. There is, however, a very good chance that the truth will end up turning everything upside down for her.

Sheena’s going to have to be stronger than ever and end up putting up a fight when it comes to her classmates.
