Leslie O’Kane is a published author. She says that she has written 28 novels in which at least one crim etakes place.

She was taken hostage in a robbery many years ago where an irate customer took them all hostage after hours at the bar. Her main thought was that ‘this guy is taking missing last call way too seriously’. This made her laugh, which led to the robber then striking her with his shotgun.
