Linda Hurtado Bond is an American published author. In addition to writing romantic thriller stories, she is also an Emmy award-winning television news anchor.

She has worked as a television news reporter and anchor in various parts of Florida, from Fort Myers to Orlando to Tampa. Over the course of the past two decades, she has been working to share information with viewers about the latest medical breakthroughs and has penned human interest stories that focus on individuals who have the spirit and courage to fight for their lives.

Linda writes on a daily basis under deadline, and has always enjoyed the chance to lose herself in a good work of fiction. She had a passion for writing fiction that began in high school. However, diving head first into a thriving professional life and having five children to look after took up much of her time and kept Linda very busy over the years.

She has had her romantic adventures released through Entangled Publishing, which include Alive at 5, Cuba Undercover, and Flatline. Cuba Undercover is based on her own life story of true love and she received various writing awards for the stories. She would later go on to switch things up with the release of her 2022 novel All the Broken Girls, which featured Cuban American culture.

The author has been the recipient of an impressive thirteen Emmy awards. She has also won a lot of Society of Professional Journalist awards, various Associated Press awards, a Florida Bar award, and an Edward R. Murrow award.

On top of winning all of these awards, Linda is also a survivor of breast cancer. Since then, she has made an effort to be active in the community and works in Tampa with such organizations as Hooked on Hope, The American Cancer Society, and The Shoot for a Cure. She works tirelessly any chance that she gets to try and raise not only money but awareness.

Linda used to be a beauty queen who attended the University of Georgia. Today she resides in Tampa, Florida. She lives there with her husband and children. Linda loves world travel, watching classic movies, and solving a good mystery.
