Michael K. Foster is a successful published author.

He’s been penning bestselling crime thriller stories since 2006, with all of the books being based in or around the North East area of England. His debut book came out in 2015 and is titled The Wharf Butcher. It kicks off the DCI Jack Mason series and gives an insight into this rugged landscape.

Ever since the release, he has penned several more full length novels in the series that feature the main character of DCI Jack Mason and has been able to garner a loyal group of avid readers of his work.

Michael was born in Plymouth, England. He served for ten years in the British Army and then decided to move to Newcastle. There he was able to earn his master’s degree. He is a former Magistrate and has been a fan of the genres of mystery and crime thrillers for a long time, and now writes them for a living!

The author currently lives in County Durham. When he’s not busy writing, he likes to go walking, travel, and spend time with his two Siamese cats.
