Morgan Radford is an American published author.

In addition to being a writer, Morgan is also an anchor for NBC News based out of New York City.

She grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina, getting her bachelor’s degree from Harvard University. Morgan then attended the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism where she got her master’s degree. She also received a Fulbright Fellowship and taught in Durban, South Africa.

Prior to this, Morgan worked for ABC News and also served as an anchor and correspondent for Al Jazeera America. She joined NBC in 2015 and ever since then she was covered some of the biggest stories in the country, such as Roe v. Wade getting overturned, the 2024 presidential election, and Fidel Castro’s death. She has won awards for her reporting.

Morgan is married and has a daughter with her husband. They live together in New York City.

Marisol runs away from her homeland, a choice that scarred her later in ways that she had never chose to show until now.

Through letters, Marisol’s secrets that she so carefully kept are starting to come to light. As they do, Lily will find that her understanding of who her mother is as a person will have changed drastically and her own perception of herself is also altered. She is allowed access to an individual with a history and her own story that enriches her conceptualization of her mother as she is coming into her own identity as a young woman and building her own story.
