Nathan Jones is a published author. He is known for writing stories mainly in the post-apocalyptic, science fiction, and fantasy genres.

He has also collaborated on work with his brother Seth Jones, writing the No More Content series, a post-apocalyptic series. This involved the first book The Challenge and the second book The Last Video.

Nathan has been reading post-apocalyptic fiction for a long time and enjoys exploring different scenarios in which disasters could occur. One of his interests is in observing our modern life and world and seeing how fragile it is, as well as just how little it would take to send the human race to a low-tech existence where people in general would not really have the skills or the knowledge to survive in.

Nathan says that he has an equal love for fantasy and science fiction. He also sometimes taking a break from writing about worlds ending in order to explore new worlds. The interest that he has in that also helped inspire him to write his post-apocalyptic series Best Laid Plans, which is made up of five books. He also was inspired to build on that story even more with his Nuclear Winter series, which is made of four books as well as Fallen City, a stand alone novel.

Nathan has also written the Mountain Man series, a post-apocalyptic series, and the Isolation series, which is also in the same genre. He has read science fiction and fantasy for a long time, and has always loved the two genres equally. He has also written stories in the young adult fantasy genre that has been moved over from a different pen name to be available under Nathan Jones with his other books, such as The Watchers trilogy, The Protectorate series, and Firefly Girl along with the sequel Mouse Princess.

Firefly Girl is the first book in the fairy tale series by the same name written by Nathan Jones. If you love sweet fairy tales, no matter what your age, this is the book for you!

Deep in the aspen woods in a little village located in the kingdom of Sephronia, there is a little girl named Alissa who lives there. There she is entrusted with the raising of the fireflies for the lanterns in the village.

Alissa is also kept busy helping her father out with the cows and helping her mother out with the inn. It’s an uncomplicated life that the girl is happy with and her home is so peaceful and bright that it seems unlikely that the curse that has come over Sephronia will ever reach here and touch it.

But it appears inevitable that the day must come when the curse will touch them. Alissa discovers that the Curse could not have picked a worse way to come to the village. Things seem very grim and now she has to go on a dangerous adventure through the wild to get to the palace in Sephron so that she can get the Court Wizard to come back with her and put everything right again.

The good news is that she doesn’t have to go alone. She has some companions in the form of traveling rats and also has her firefly lantern with her. You can also guess that she is more than just a firefly girl, from a girl who is able to speak to rats and has the courage to leave her village behind and make her way through various risky places. Will she be able to accomplish what she set out to do? Read this book to find out!

Mouse Princess is the second book in the Firefly Girl series by Nathan Jones. If you read the first book and enjoyed it, be sure to check this one out as well!

In Sephron City in the Royal Palace, the capitol of the Kingdom of Sephronia, there is a princess who goes by the name of Alissa. She is a courageous and willful girl who once upon a time was tasked with raising magical fireflies in a small village in the aspen wood.

The little girl still raises fireflies but this time they are given a huge glass house to live in located in the palace gardens. They don’t get called upon to fill up a lantern and provide light as much as they were in the past. They largely just keep Alissa company these days.

Their reassurance is also welcome, as Alissa has a lot more on her shoulders as a royal princess than she did in the past as a firefly girl. More than that, the Curse that has come over Sephronia has gotten even more terrible since the last adventure. It has gotten to the heart of the palace, which has led to her grandfather the King to go into a deep sleep that he cannot wake up from.

Her father the prince has gone on a quest to try and have the curse lifted. He’s left her behind despite the fact that she begged him to allow her to go with him and help complete this mission. He has turned her down and said it would not be safe for her, but she also thinks that there is nowhere in Sephronia that is safe while the Curse is still actively part of the kingdom.

Now it seems that the firefly girl has been captured by the Curse as well. She is tossed into another adventure, this time not to just protect and save her family, but the entirety of Sephronia. Will she be successful or will she find that it’s simply too large a task to achieve? Read this book to find out!
