Author Pandora Pine began writing after she became sick of slogging through her 9-5 rat race of a job. It made her put pen to paper to pursue her ambition of becoming a romance author. It made her cut her teeth in the tough world of fan fiction, dreaming the whole time of being a published writer.

During her spare time, Pandora fancies herself as an amateur nature photographer. She likes to hike through the woods, muck through swamps, and crawl around on her hands and knees in her own backyard as she try to find the perfect shot. Pandora believes Mexican food is a good idea at all times, and is a fan of seafood shacks by the roadside.

A few of Pandora’s favorite things include writing longhand with purple pens, chocolate, and handsome, hunky guys that fall in love with one another.

“Dead Speak” is the first novel in the “Cold Case Psychic” series, which was released in the year 2018. Detective Ronan O’Mara was demoted to the cold case squad after he shot a suspect in the line of duty. He knows that his career with the Boston Police hangs by a thread.

Now, his first case is Michael Frye’s case, he is a five year old boy that went missing seven years ago. No witnesses are available to interview and there are no new leads, Ronan must start from scratch in order to solve the case. He sees a good looking local psychic on the television, and finds that he does not have much to lose in enlisting the guy to help him find the missing child.

Tennyson Grimm is currently riding after he helped the South Shore police locate a missing child. He is even being courted by a network for a program where he can showcase some of his talents. He has zero idea that his noon appointment with a customer, who winds up being a cop, will alter the course of both his career and life.

With BPD’s blessing, which needs an image makeover badly, Ronan is allowed to have Tennyson along to help with the Frye case. Being tossed in front of cameras is never easy, but toss in an emotional missing persons case, a cop that is a skeptic, a tight-lipped spirit. It puts a strain on both of the men as well as their working relationship.

The child’s body is found, and the hunt to track down his murderer has started. While Tennyson and Ronan become closer during their mission to solve the case, their initial attraction they have towards one another explodes into a strong passion neither guy is able to keep to themselves.

Is working together to bring Michael’s killer to justice going to seal their fledgling bond, or are unexpected revelations during the case tear them both apart?

Tennyson is a likable character and his abilities were well written, too. Ronan is also a great character, and his flaws help make the guy a better person. The finale of the book is one that will take your breath away, and it will take a while to recover.

“Dead Reckoning” is the second novel in the “Cold Case Psychic” series, which was released in the year 2018. A young male prostitute’s spirit comes to psychic Tennyson Grimm and asks to find the john that brutally killed him, and Tennyson is unable to decline. They can only communicate by using images, instead of words, makes getting information out of the young guy slow going and frustrating.

Ronan O’Mara, Cold Case Detective, has been on a roll solving his cases since he and Tennyson teamed up the last time to solve the Michael Frye case. The fiery romance that was blossoming between the two guys while they investigated fizzled out because of Ronan’s self-confessed pigheadness.

They agree to work with each other, despite the rift in their relationship, and find they are in for more than they originally thought as more victims show themselves to Tennyson.

They may have a serial murderer on their hands, they find and they work together tirelessly to keep the killer from murdering anyone again. The killer targets a prominent member of the Boston Police Department’s son, will Tennyson and Ronan be able to save him before time runs out?

Pandora Pine does a superb job with the mystery and suspense aspects in each of these books. She makes it tough on the reader to know what is going to happen at the end or who the bad guys are. The plot is easy to follow and engaging the entire way through the book.

“Dead Silent” is the third novel in the “Cold Case Psychic” series, which was released in the year 2018. After the Justin Wilson case ended dramatically, psychic Tennyson Grimm goes to a tiny island near the coast of Maine, hoping he can renew his spirit and clear his head. Because the dead aren’t allowing Tennyson any rest, the psychic curses his talent and orders all the spirits to leave him. He wakes up the next morning to absolute silence, and finds there is truth to the saying “be careful what you wish for”.

Ronan has been assigned to find a more “sedate” cold case to solve this time. The good looking cop is all too happy to oblige. He picks a twenty year old case of a family patriarch who was killed in 1997, the night of Christmas. The only suspects are either his daughter or his wife, both of whom were with him when he died. Ronan thinks this is going to be easy. All he must do is get his favorite medium to speak with the dead guy’s spirit.

Tennyson reveals the truth about what went down in Maine, and he is forced to look hard at who he believed he was and what his gift actually means. Ronan does his absolute best to help his lover with his new normal while he uses old-fashioned police work to find out a family who put the dis in dysfunction.

Is Tennyson going to be able to find the key that will unlock his gift? Or are the spirits going to stay dead silent?
