Parker Blue is an American published author.

She lives in Colorado Springs with her dog, who she says is very similar to Fang, the part hellhound mutt who belongs to her character Val from the Demon Underground series.

Parker loves the color red, saying that a bright color of orange red is just something that makes her happy. She also loves things that are shiny, something that she attributes to likely being a magpie in a former life. She loves making shiny things as well and spending her time beading.

The author also loves dogs, something that is easy to understand as she says that they love you unconditionally and are great for stress relief. She loves numbers and math because it always makes sense. Chocolate is also another thing that she enjoys, saying that it’s a no brainer.

Parker loves the Colorado mountains and their beauty and says that she is addicted to Diet Coke. She also loves reading and going into an all new fantasy world from someone’s imagination, and loves doing the same thing by writing stories of her own.

Things that she does not enjoy include blogs that put other people down, going to the dentist for a cleaning, politics, television shows that make fun of people after asking them to do ‘stupid things for money’, seafood, yard work, and writing biographies about herself.

She is the author of the Demon Underground series as well as a spin-off series titled The Stone Whisperer Chronicles, featuring the character of Ivy Weiss and serving as a mystery. Blue has written several dark paranormal novellas and also writes stories under the pen name of Pam McCutcheon.

Valentine Shapiro is not even 18 years old, and life already has been pretty tough. She got a tough deal when it comes to the lottery of getting parents. Her father was actually part incubus demon and it’s something that her mother has not ever gotten over. But it’s not Val’s fault that she inherited that from him. She just wishes that her mother could accept her for who she is.

It’s tough being in high school as it is, and even tougher when you’re part demon. Val just does her best to try and battle the demon inside of her and make sure that she’s the one in control. Then things get even worse when her irrational mother decides that it’s the perfect time to throw her out of the house.

Val ends up doing the only thing that she can and does her best to keep moving forward. She also does the sole thing that makes sense and takes aim at the vampires in town. It’s just the way to deal with everything and try to make the place she lives a little safer. She also finds that staking vampires is an effective way of dealing with her own demons.

Despite her little stint as a vampire slayer, Val’s far from being Buffy. Well not really, but thinking of herself as the blonde vampire slayer makes her demon (Lola) slip into a cantankerous mood. The dark side she has to entertain means that her regular life is a blend of ups and downs that she can’t predict, but it just results in Val being the ideal night bounty hunter.

It turns out that the vampires running loose in San Antonio have gone totally rogue. It means that Val and Fang, her hellhound who is always by her side, as well as her new partner (a police detective from San Antonio who isn’t too tough on the eyes) have to all team up to try and see what they can do about sweeping these toothy monsters off of the streets of the city and keeping everyone safe.

But it isn’t too long before the bounty hunter finds herself deeper and deeper in the city while also finding out more about the Demon Underground and working hard to try and save the people that she loves.
