Pepper McGraw is the creator and author of the Murrayville Chronicles as well as the Shenanigans series of novels as well as the two book series Wicked. This should not be confused with another popular Broadway show bearing the same moniker.

There are an eighteen novels so far in the fictional series Matchmaking Cats of the Goddesses. McGraw also turns out some spectacular work and writing within his series, Stories of the Veil. She has even continued this series with the second series Stories of the Veil Duet, which debuted in 2024.

She is a USA Today best-selling author. Unfortunately, that does not mean that she had the good fortune to be a shifter. She was not born a witch, a fairy, or any other paranormal creature out there. The only hope that she has now is to discover that she is the fated mate for a creature like that.

Until that day comes, she makes herself feel better by putting the pen to the paper and coming up with various stories starring the same paranormal creatures that she cannot wait to personally meet. In addition to being an author writing fiction, she is an avid supporter of local shelters and animal rescue, and additionally supports the ‘Trap-Neuter-Release’ programs that help feral cats.

The author also has the distinction of getting meows and various head butts from the local feral cats which live in her neighborhood. She has even been able to get a few of them to agree to come inside her house and even adopt her as being their human.

When it comes to the main characters of this story, they may quickly find out that a cat making matches might be their only real chance at getting a story that ends happily. This is more Maggie’s fault than anyone else’s.

Maggie does not really like people, and they don’t appear to be head over heels about her either. When she gets a house left to her as well as enough cash to withdraw comfortably from the world, it seems like an ideal opportunity.

She reports her cat being kidnapped. Just like that, the sheriff has a bigger problem to deal with. All the more so when she finds out that the sheriff is actually his mate.

While he does not really care all too much, this changes everything. He knows that Genghis Khat is on a mission to find his human person a mate. But the problem is that she doesn’t exactly love the sheriff, and the cat realizes it’s going to take much more work than he thought to make sure that his match is ‘pawsitively purrfect’.
