R.J. Koreto is a published American author.

He is known for writing the Lady Frances Folkes mystery series, the Alice Roosevelt mystery series, and the Wren Fontaine Historic Homes series. The short stories he has written have been published in Ellery Queen’s Mystery Magazine and Alfred Hitchcock’s Mystery Magazine.

R.J. is someone who says that he has never been able to resist a good mystery. Whether it was hidden in a historical footnote, buried in an old house, or put inside of a complicated character, if it was a mystery, he was interested.

He was born in New York City and attended school at Vassar College. R.J. decided that he wanted to write fiction after he read The Naked and the Dead, which was a book that was able to show him just how deeply a story was able to cut.

Throughout the years, he has served as a merchant seaman in the U.S. Merchant Marine, a book author, a PR consultant, a website manager, a magazine writer and editor, and works in his day job as a business and financial journalist. He says that all of his work have him a front row seat to moral puzzles and human oddities, which was helpful for a mystery writer.

R.J.’s short fiction has been featured in different publications such as Alfred Hitchcock, Ellery Queen, and different anthologies. His Wren Fontaine series is able to combine architectural history along with modern intrigue. With Winter’s Season, he goes back to Regency-era London where Captain Winter has to navigate various places without modern policing’s benefit.

He is married and shares daughters with his wife. Koreto splits his time between Martha’s Vineyard and Rockland County, New York.

When a third murder ends up going down, the introverted architect has to think more about people as well as how love affairs and obsessions doomed to end badly keep on haunting the Greenleafs. She ends up concluding that it is high time that she and her girlfriend Hadley take the next step and get a place together, a change that is going to be stressful but is also exciting.

It would be great if the attacks ceased, but they just keep going. Wren ultimately realizes that she’s going to have to tackle and solve the various mysteries around Captain Turnbull and Nicky Tallon. Turnbull House is known for representing harmony and order. Now Wren is going to have to dig deep if she wants to see the truth about how this house has affected its owners new and old.
