Renée Jaggér is an American published author.
She was born in the city of Los Angeles, the place where she says many of her formative years were spent. Once she had grown up, she decided to move around some. She eventually would wind up in Oregon in a small town, one that is not unlike the fictional hometown of Greenhearth. Some readers may think it is real but she regrets to inform them that it is in fact made up.
In addition to reading novels and writing, Renée also has a love of animals. She has a particular sense of fondness for her own two pets, despite the fact that they do inject quite a bit of havoc into her routine on a daily basis. She has a cat called Snowstorm and a Labradoodle named Josephine who is a rescue.
Renée is constantly working on her next book and trying to get it released! She has many devoted readers, all of whom keep her inspired to continue putting out great works for the community to enjoy.
Renée Jaggér is the author of multiple series of fictional novels, which include the WereWitch series, the Callie Hart series, the Reincarnation of the Morrigan series co-written with Michael Anderle, the Para-Military Recruiter series co-written with Michael Anderle, the Piercing the Veil series, and the Valerie Stonehold series, again co-written with Michael Anderle. Renée Jaggér’s first series is the WereWitch series. It first started with the release of the debut novel Bad Attitude in 2020. This was quickly followed up by the release of the sequel, A Bit Aggressive. The third book Too Much Magic continued things from there, followed by Were War, Were Rages, God Ender, God Trials, The Troll Solution, and Winner Takes All.
Bad Attitude is the first novel in the WereWitch series by Renée Jaggér. If you love a bit of fantasy in your life and have a particular weakness for books with a bit of the paranormal in them, check out this story for yourself!
Were tradition dictates that you must get married at a young age of twenty-five years old. If you were in that situation, would you go along with it, or fight to try and choose something else?
Main character Bailey Nordin is part of the pack, but she is starting to see that the obligations that the pack requires of her are starting to be a bit much. She’s getting overwhelmed by all of the stress and she knows that she doesn’t feel ready for it. She feels much more comfortable working on cars than getting all dressed up and going out on a date.
A good workout in the morning looks something like a fight for her. She could have something going on in the romance department, but unfortunately her tendency to be sarcastic and hard is getting in the way of their love life. Things were looking okay there for a while, but things don’t appear to indicate that they are going to look up.
Then there’s Roland, who is doing his best to try and get away from three witches. The powerful paranormal trio want what he only can provide, and now he’s on the run to try and escape them. In the middle of his attempt to get away, he discovers himself in a small town that is so tiny that you could be walking by it and almost miss it.
While Roland is a wizard, Bailey is a Were. They both have their own problems to contend with, but Roland could potentially help Bailey solve all of hers if she thought that magic were real. But it’s hard to convince someone that doesn’t want to see that, he supposes.
Can Bailey figure out how to navigate a lot of changes that are being brought down from the heavens? Will she be sticking with tradition or end up finding a way to break free at last? Pick up a copy of the first book in this series to find out!
A Bit Aggressive is the second novel in the WereWitch series by Renée Jaggér. If you are a big fan of paranormal fantasy fiction stories or just read the first book in this series and want to see what the sequel has in store, check the second installment out!
Were Tradition said that Weres should marry when they’re twenty-five years old, but Bailey kind of thought that some of her good deeds would buy her a little wiggle room on that one. Helping to get a kidnapping ring all broken up should be able to help her out some, and it does– but only a small amount.
Bailey would love to date and find someone that she truly loves and wants to marry but so far it just has not been happening. She seems to be developing a knack for attracting suicidal idiots and while she is becoming increasingly strong she is also finding that her fake boyfriend Roland is stirring up feelings in her that she would rather ignore.
The Were girl knows that she should be taking some space and stepping back from Roland if this is the way that she is feeling, but she just can’t help it. She knows that the best thing that she can do is just try to find a good way to mend her own personal status with the need that tradition is placing on her.
Strangers are attempting to be helpful while others are prone to attack. The Weres know that Bailey does not ever back down from a fight and so they will have to think twice before coming for her. Bailey has also found out more about wizards and witches and the fact that magic is real as well as shamans and other aspects of the magical world.
Now that she’s found out about this whole other side of reality, Bailey wants nothing more than to retreat back to peacefully working on cars once more. It’s a great plan, but the gods have also noticed her now. Can she find her own power and take this on successfully while figuring out how she can avoid giving in to tradition for tradition’s sake? Read the second book in this series to find out!
