Robbi Renee is an American published author.

Robbi grew up in St. Louis, Missouri with what she says are two incredible parents and two older sisters whom she describes as ‘amazing’. She has always been the baby of them all and says that she has always had a vivid imagination and was wise beyond her years, describing herself as too grown for her own good.

She has always had a love for movies, books, journalism, and all thing Oprah, which led to her pursuing and completing a journalism degree. She ignored her childhood dream of being in entertainment and pursued a career in everything that was not related to writing, reading, or journalism. She did find her way back to entertainment in the form of writing, having decided to use her ‘big mouth’ for good in the equity, diversity, and inclusion space.

Her original love for reading and writing was rekindled during the 2020 pandemic where her pen name and alter ego Robbi Renee was born. Robbi is her father’s nickname so her pen name pays homage to him (Robbi says proudly that she is still a daddy’s girl). Renee is her middle name, making the pen name complete. Her real name is Stacey.

She would pen her first novella French Kiss Christmas in December of 2020. Robbi draws upon personal experiences with life and love to write her stories and has an adoration for Black romance. Her favorite stories are of love, trauma, intuition, and heartache and redemption, things that fuel her work.

Robbi Renee started Love Notes by Robbi Renee as a way to release all of the stories that live in her head. She enjoys her own Black family love story with her husband George, with whom she has a son.
