Robert Rapoza is an award-winning author.
Readers may know him for the first book in the Nick Randall series, The Lost Tribe. The book was a 2015 Clive Cussler Adventure Writers Semi-Finalist. He is also the author of The Bermuda Connection, the second book in the series, which won a 2017 Pinnacle Award. The third book, The Devil’s Heart, ended up being a 2021 Clive Cussler adventure Writers Semi-Finalist. The fourth book in the series is titled The Washington Prophecy.
The thriller stories feature the main character of Nick Randall, an action hero protagonist that reminds readers of adventurers from Dan Brown series or the Indiana Jones series. Main character Nick Randall is an archaeologist who is having a nightmare over and over. He’s just gotten back from being in Peru, having gone on an expedition in its jungles. Now he thinks that the dream might be connected to his discovering a native tribe that was previously unknown to anyone and different than any other tribe that is currently known by man.
Then Nick has a run-in with assassins and nearly gets killed. Now he has to go into hiding to protect himself. Meanwhile, his son John is a bio-engineer. He’s come up with a drug that is able to get rid of traumatic experiences from the past. The only problem is that the drug comes with a side effect.
Then John’s research partner goes missing, and he finds it hard to believe that it is a coincidence. Realizing it must be connected to their efforts, John looks for clues and finds himself being chased by a group of military henchmen.
When they are pulled to a woman on the Bermudan island, their paths cross. However, they must find her but also get to a riddle and solve it before someone else does. Can they deal with this scenario and come out on top before humanity suffers the consequences? Read this book to find out!
