The author comes up with characters that are not perfect but are brave and can go through the most dire of predicaments and come out on the other side. Even though she would hate to brave the elements, the author admits that she would not last five minutes in one of her own stories.

Sam was an attorney for many years and still works as one. However, she would love to write full-time as an author.
