Sarah Goodwin is a published British novelist.

She grew up in the rural area of Hertfordshire. She grew up on things such as ‘The Good Life’, ‘Little House on the Prairie’, and ‘Anne of Green Gables’. Her parents raised her on this but also turned a blind eye when it comes to Sarah’s exploration and experimentation with feminism, herbal medicine, witchcraft and her eco-warrior ideals.

She thinks that they were a little unsurprised when she came up with her ambition of building her own hut situated in the woods and residing there like some type of soothsayer. Her second dream was to become an author.

She attended Bath Spa University where she studied to get her B.A. in creative writing. She has self-published many of her books all across different genres, including contemporary women’s fiction, young adult magical realism, romance, and horror.

She has written some historical novels but then decided that it was a good time to get back to her roots. IT was time to write about darkness, the wild, and survival. This inspired the author to come with her idea for Stranded, which would become her first published novel on a professional basis and not self-published.
