Sin Blaché is a musician and an author. They have been writing science fiction and horror stories for all of their life.

Prophet is their first novel. Sin was born in California and resides in the Northwest region of Ireland. She can be frequently found obsessing over obscure folk instruments, playing lots of video games, and being a ‘reluctant savior’ to the feral cats of her area.

Prophet is the first book from Sin Blaché. It was cowritten with Heather MacDonald. If you like a good noir science fiction that includes slow burn queer romance, this is the book for you!

It’s set in a universe that takes place just one step from our own. Adam Rubenstein has been reluctant partners with Sunil Rao ever since their days in Uzbekistan.

Adam is an American intelligence officer who is seemingly unflappable. Rao is a former MI6 agent. He is also an addict and a pleasure hound with no rudder. But he has the ability to discern the truth about most things– about everyone except Adam.

Then an American diner turns up in the United Kingdom in a foggy field after a mysterious death, who should be called in to investigate other than Adam and Rao. This will set into motion the most dangerous mission of their lives combined.

Full of action, Adam and Rao go everywhere from Colorado to check out secret laboratories to a luxury lodge located in Aspen to the remote desert in Nevada. As they go on they start to pick up on a pattern throughout all of their travels.

They start to see how people’s fondest memories are being weaponized against them by a substance called Prophet. The pair now starts to see that this new reality is taking hold. Viictim’s memories are coming up in strange games, pets, fairground rides, and more, each manifestation being more malevolent than the one that came before.

Prophet is a bigger enemy than the two or the world itself has ever come up against. With corporate corruption at the heart of it and this odd couple romance, Adam and Rao must figure out what is going on and how to stop it once and for all.
