She has always believed that the legend is real, but is about to find out firsthand how true the curse really is. That is because an earthquake takes place that releases the powerful magic that has been keeping the curse bound, and all of a sudden what the legend has been saying makes sense.

The good news is that the descendants of the Zodiac are able to stop the curse. Audrey herself has water magic (Scorpio style) running through her veins. The only issue is that in order to get access to that magic, she has to touch a man named Wes Latham.

Wes is a Taurus, and an arrogant one. He also happens to be the brother of her ex-boyfriend and is known to Audrey as the man who betrayed her a total of four years ago. Wes was born in this celestial town and raised here. However, he had always believed that the legend was just another tourist gimmick and a way to get their hard-earned dollars into locals’ hands.

Then he finds out one night that he is able to hold lightning in his hands, and everything changes. Now he finds out that fate has a cruel sense of humor since it has paired him up with Audrey. No big deal. Just the woman he has been in love with for more than a decade and is clearly off-limits.

Using their magic comes with a price and a side effect that neither saw coming– not being able to keep their hands off of each other. The heat between them is only growing, but as it does, the curse comes into their minds and is exploiting the way that they feel about each other and the pain that they have caused each other in the past.

The pair are going to have to find a way to get over things, work through the past, and harness the magical ability that they have in the present if they want to be successful. Finn has been in love with her since they were teens. Now they have important chemistry, more important than ever. Their magic together ends up showing them that the passion is still there. Thora just can’t seem to forgive him for the past until the curse targets them, and they have no choice but to stick together.

Thore is not the type to back down from a fight. However, getting tangled up with her crush and one time love of her life might be too much. There is just more at stake than her heart here. The forces that worked to tear them apart are still lurking out there.
