Theophilus Monroe is a published author who has written fantasy stories.

Elijah Wadsworth and the Druid’s Dance is the first book in the Gates of Eden: The Druid Legacy series by Theophilus Monroe.

Elijah Wadsworth is the main character in this story, and he grew up with an interesting past. He lost his twin sister and his parents both in what he perceived to be not that much more than a horrible accident.

It was not five years later when he started to see some changes. He had been showing some odd abilities, and he does not really understand them all the way and cannot control them at all so far. He also finds out that apparently this goes far beyond just his lifetime.

The members of his family have been involved in the middle of a cosmic battle that has been going on for centuries. With this new information, it appears that the passing of his family perhaps was not the accident that Elijah had believed it to be.

When it comes to a girl in black who is after him, who appears to have her own dark magical powers, he eventually starts to understand that she is trying to get him to join her cause. When she comes into the possession of a mystical stone, he finds that it has the ability to send him into the old memories of his father, even though he has passed.

Working with his close friends, Elijah must find out where his power is coming from. He is worried that his abilities will drain his own soul while also exposing the world to Samhuinn’s negative impact. Everything could depend on what they do and what he chooses to do next.

Elijah did not anticipate that the girl that he loves would be threatened. Now he must try to either save her through joining up with the sorceress, with the girl in black, or try to save the world. It’s a terrible choice and he’s got to go with something. Can he find another option where he is able to do both, or will this be a decision that he must make and bear the burden of?

Modern and with interesting characters and some compelling plot twists, some romance, plenty of adventure, and a dive into the Celtic mythical world, this is a followup series to Druidess that fantasy readers absolutely will enjoy.

This is the tale of one man’s journey as he does his best to try and rise to the occasion and take on the threats as they come. There are many characters featured in this story, tons of plot twists, and a unique story that incorporates elements of Celtic mythology into it.

A solid story in the romance genre, Theophilus Monroe once again brings readers the most creative and unique fantasy from his own mind and puts it together with intriguing people as well as a hero that you can root for, a modern Arthurian fantasy story put together with an engaging story that whisks the reader away and into a different world entirely.
