When Toni Blake is not busy writing, she enjoys scrapbooking, traveling, and making quilts by hand.

Toni’s love of writing started when she won this essay contest back in the fifth grade. By the time that she graduated from high school in 1983, she’d already written her first novella along with numerous short stories and she edited her high school paper for three years.

But it was not until much later that she began to seriously pursue her dreams of becoming a writer. In 1996 she was the recipient of the Kentucky Women Writers Fellowship and a nominee for the prestigious Pushcart Prize, and she quickly had more than 30 articles and short stories published in various literary, youth, and writing publications.

During the summer of 1995, she began writing romance novels at the urging of a good friend, and by 1998, she had made her first sale. Ever since that time, Toni’s written romance novels for Harlequin, Kensington, Signet Eclipse, Warner Books, and Avon.

She was born in Covington, Kentucky in 1965, right across the Ohio River from Cincinnati, Ohio. Her early childhood was spent in the northern Kentucky area, where she was brought up by two loving, humble, hard working parents.

When she was just 7, her family moved south to this more rural area of Kentucky, where she soon learn to despise farm work and struggled with fitting in at school. Being an only child in the country left a bunch of time for imagination to grow. And she was 10 when she decided she wanted to become a writer. She told her mom this one morning over breakfast, and then proceeded to write her first novel, which was 19 notebook pages long.

“The Weekend Wife” is the first stand alone novel and was released in 2000. Deception. Danger. Desire. What PI Max Tate really needs is a woman. The only way that he can trap a sneaky jewel thief is to have a beautiful wife as bait. That’s where sexy Kimberly Brandt comes in. She is absolutely perfect for the part, although she has mangled his heart and his career once already. This time though he vows he’ll keep his distance.

All that Kimberly wants is the opportunity to prove to Max that she is a good PI, so she will give this job her all. Turning the heat up, she quickly has this crook right where she wants him, however there is just one problem. “One Reckless Summer” is the first novel in the “Destiny” series and was released in 2009. It is tough to just play it cool on a sultry summer night.

“All I Want is You” is the first novel in the “Coral Cove” series and was released in 2014. Sometimes you must create your own destiny. Christy Knight grew up in Destiny, Ohio, however she has been feeling like her future lies elsewhere. Her parents are gone and the beautiful jewelry that she creates does not pay the bills. It might be time for Christy to just grow up and find a man that is sexy, smart, and solvent. Her rugged handyman neighbor fits the first two of these categories, however he is all wrong for her. If he only didn’t have such captivating blue eyes.

“Brushstrokes” is the first novel in the “Rose Brothers” series and was released in 2017. Mia Drake (a starving artist) has been starving for a way to make some money ever since moving back to Sassafras, South Carolina, and for some man to bring her increasingly wicked fantasies to life. But the only local work that a painter can get is putting a fresh coat on the walls of The Rose Tavern, however this means staying professional with Rick Rose (the hunky owner) who is just the sort of man that she hungers for.

Rick asked for some white paint on the walls, not some giant mural on the ceiling. However sassy and sexy Mia seems to spread color wherever she goes, along with the temptation to make his body a blank canvas for her every desire. Rick must find a way to draw the line with her before she is able to paint her way into his heart.
